I don't like them. The internet is really slow. Even though we're paying for faster than standard speed, when we watch Netflix, it keeps popping. I contacted them about this a month ago. They sent somebody out and they did find a problem outside and fixed that. It was better for a couple of days and then it sort of reverted to what it had been before. It is not quite as bad. But, it's still not as good as what we had with DirecTV, which we can't get where we live. We're really not pleased. But, it's our only option. They answer and they listen and they apologize. But, they don't seem to be very effective. If there was another provider, I would go with them.

I like it but its too expensive. The only problem I've had with COMCAST is that sometimes when I call in, there's an awfully long wait till you get someone to answer your call. I've found that certain times of the day work out better than others. And also, I have an underground connection on my property that over the last two years has been damaged by heavy water because we have heavy rains so at one point two years ago, over a period of like two months, I was without anything because I have their triple plug. I was out of phone service, internet and TV for like 11 days. They got it straightened out, four different people were out here to work until they actually found the problem. That's the only interruption in service that I've had. Normally if something happens or something is not right, I call them. I have the high speed internet and I rarely have trouble with that. Somebody spliced my email last year and I wasn't getting any email, it was a heck of a problem to get it straightened out. They directed me to Norton Security and put a security system on my email. COMCAST really helped me out with that and paid for that. Once I get through to somebody, there service is pretty good. My service response time is pretty quick. If they can't come immediately, they do tell me when they'll be there and they notify me ahead of time. They give me the option to cancel the appointment, all that stuff. They are always very professional. They'll give you a financial refund if they are not here by the time they said they'd be here.

I have been with them for probably sixteen years. Basically, they are the only one in town that can provide you with good service. There are no other cable companies like a Dish Network or something like that, but then, you cannot get internet with them. The quality of their service is fine. They are very responsive. I never really had any problems like that.

Every time I get a bill, it is different. The last bill was $154, so I called because it used to be $130, and they said that it was the end of year deal, and so now it has gone up. She said that if we return the DVR, and because we are hardly ever there, so we didn't need the DVR, and so they say we will just pay $92.93. I get my next bill and it has the difference. I called, and he said that I would have to pay the full bill and there was nothing I could do. He said I couldn't believe what the people say on the phone. I asked to speak to his supervisor, and he said that he would ask the supervisor to call me back, but they have never called me back. I tried calling yesterday, and I was told there was a 15 minute wait, and I tried again today, and it was a 20 to 25 minute wait. Sometimes the quality is good, sometimes it isn't. I had to change the DVR box, and they just gave me the regular box, but they didn't give me the chords to go with it. They don't really care. You talk to them, and some person to get you off the phone will just tell you yes it is $92.93, and when the bill comes, it is not.

It was their equipment that was faulty so there wasn't any charge. We are not real impressed with the company but the local service people are very respectful and polite. We don't have any problem with them. They are very nice people. Comcast is a national company and sometimes they leave a lot to be desired. Their prices are reasonable for the maintenance agreement. Their monthly service has gone up over the years.
