I felt as though I needed to monitor the progress of the job carefully to make sure things were done to specification. With one exception, everyone that I dealt with directly was responsive to my concerns. After I became more familiar with the painters I felt as though I could relax a little. I still kept a close eye on their progress and I think that the job came out very well.
If you can contract directly with a reputable Paint Company with a proven track record, more of your money will probably go directly into your project. I would certainly recommend doing your homework and getting several estimates.
In my experience, CertaPro will work with you and they are responsive to your concerns so if you do your homework, you should be able to get satisfactory, professional results from them.

We let CertaPro know the next day or two that we wanted to move forward.
About a month later the work started. The same person (Jamie) did all the work and he was an excellent worker. We felt very comfortable with him in our home and working around our family.
The deck looked amazing just after the power-washing and looked even MORE amazing after the staining. Jamie was detail oriented and we're very happy with the end result.
We wouldn't hesitate to recommend CertaPro in the future if we need interior or exterior work completed by a great company!
They came back out because our HOA wanted the color adjusted. They did this at no additional cost to us. They definitely went above and beyond for us.

In your absence I made it a point to stop by to inspect the work prior to your return to ensure that the quality of work performed was going to be up to our standards and yours. As you know I did notice an issue with some ceilings that didn't finish as nicely as we would have hoped. I immediately reached out to the contact that you provided us in your absence to schedule a time to correct the problem, which we did. We also scheduled a walk through upon your return to address anything that you may noticed, which we also resolved. I thank you for your patience as we worked to ensure your complete satisfaction with the project."
I requested a proposal. I spent time with Mr. Nygard discussing what was needed. A waste of time apparently. Not so "Pro" in my experience.

"I did meet with [member name removed] and reviewed the scope of work he was looking to have completed on the exterior of his home. After reviewing the project and discussing the expectations [member name removed] had for the project I determined it was not something that CertaPro would be able to provide a successful resolution to based on the current condition of the property, cost and areas of repair that required expertise beyond our capability. Obviously, based on [member name removed]'s comments I should have done a better job communicating our intentions and for that I apologize. Prior to providing a proposal for any project one of the most important considerations is the likelihood we have of providing a successful end result for our customers. In this instance I felt it was a project that [member name removed] would be better served by another contractor. Best of luck with the project and I'm sorry that I didn't communicate our intentions more clearly."
Both Estimator and Painter were professional, expert, meticulous, and congenial. Both left a very good impression.
Quality of work: Both work sites were better than the condition when new.
Price: I obtained three estimates. Certa Pro was lowest, and I am now certain better work.
My highest recommendation.
"We completed this project roughly 8 months prior to the writing of this review on Angie's List. Part of our process to ensure customer satisfaction is to call every customer after the paint has dried to make sure that we met their expectation in the areas of quality of work and customer service. We ask our customers to rate their overall experience with our company on a scale of 1-10 with 1 being a very poor experience and 10 being an excellent experience. We did speak with this customer 2 days after the project was completed and she rated our service a 9 out of 10. That being said, as soon as I received this review I reached out to the customer to discuss any concerns that she may have and if there was anything we could do to resolve them. The customer returned my call and indicated that she did not write the review, it was written by a roommate that is not an Angie's List member. She also expressed that she did have some issues with a repair that we had done on her garage ceiling and also some paint that ended up in areas that it shouldn't have. I would like to offer my sincere apology for any aspect of our work that did not live up to this customers expectation. We will return to correct any areas that are not up to her expectations. In the meantime this homeowner is going to revise this review so that it reflects her overall satisfaction with the project. We appreciate the opportunity to ensure that this customer is 100% satisfied."
