"Thank you for posting this even prior to job completion. The rest of the job went fine once the bees were dormant for the winter."

This provider is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. We had an ice storm this winter and got an estimate for cleanup. The estimate was dated February 11, 2014. We agreed to the services when we received the estimate and was told it would take about a month to get to us. They delayed and delayed until multiple months had gone by and we finally had to call and give them an ultimatum that they either needed to get us done or we would find another tree service to do the job. They finally started our job on a Sunday with only two people then didn't show up for a week. We had to constantly nag them by phone to get anyone to show up at all. After they finally finished the job, on May 9, it had been almost three months from the date the estimate was provided!
To top things off, they sent us a bill with only 7 days to pay until a late fee would be assessed. The bill arrived on the due date. I mailed it that day, but a few days later a bill arrived with the 10% late fee added! What a slap in the face after all that we had put up with from them. Bottom line, this is a terrible company run by some very inconsiderate and unprofessional people.

"This years ice storm left us with tree damage everywhere. The [member name removed]'s called right away after the storm for an estimate. There was over a foot of snow on the ground at the time of the quote. After quoting the work, which was not an emergency situation, we received an overwhelming amount of true emergency calls. Trees on homes, garages, cars, power lines and across driveways everywhere. We didn't think it would take us three months to complete the clean up, but it did. Everything was frozen under the snow. During storms many tree services bump their prices up. We call it storm chasing in this industry. We do not do that, making us usually the lowest price and very busy. We had to prioritize due to risk, so for about 5 weeks we went around removing hung up limbs over homes, power lines, etc. Then we had to go back and clean up the mess we left everywhere. I spoke to [member name removed] several times and she said it was no emergency, they we fine waiting (most likely for the price). Then the snow melted and the grass started growing and they wanted it done asap, which we did. Our guys worked 12 hour days, 7 days a week for 3 months. We did the best we could humanly do. Most people understood the magnitude of damage in York. The [member name removed] threatened to hire another company after we had already started the work. As for the bill, payment is due upon job completion. We never ask for a deposit, but we expect to be paid once the work is done. The mail only takes a day or two. We have employees to pay and we are a small family owned company, not a financing company. This winter has unfortunately hurt many of the local tree services reputations."

Craig and his wife were both very informative of what best procedures with the tree and did not recommend anything that was not neccesary like some other quotes Ive gotten. After I hired, they came, did the job and cleaned up. I would def use them again for my tree servicing, cant beat the prices and the work

Amspacher Tree Service was very punctual in returning my telephone call and setting up an appointment to see the trees that I wanted removed. They gave me an estimate on the spot and the total cost of the completed project was within the estimate. By the way, Amspacher's estimate was half the price of another tree removal company I contacted to do the same job. They told me they could do the job the first week in June and they tried, but rain prevented them from completing the task. They came back the following week, after the lawn dried out a bit, to finish the work. They ground the stumps, took the wood away, and removed all the debris from the trees. The yard around the trees looked as good after they left as it was before they arrived. I would definitely use Amspacher Tree Service again and recommend them to anyway looking for a tree removal company.

Did not go well. Price was in keeping with other estimates and he seemed like a really nice guy.  Almost 2 weeks went by after recieving estimate. I had to call to find out when work would be done. They got their truck and chipper stuck in the yard which was not the real problem. The real problem was that the grass died within three days from where their equipment sat to a swath all  across my yard. They got wood chips on my neighbors pool deck left leaves, sticks and branches all across the yard. Had to call again several days later to find out when they would finish the job. They drove across the same area again instead of where they were told to drive. Left a 5 foot section of trunk laying on the ground that we had to deal with. Received bill weeks later with a date on of 4/11, I hadn't even met them until 4/13. When I protested about paying the bill due to the fact I had to spend more than 150.00 to try and fix the damage the wife left nasty messages and got into an argument with me about the price and the condition of my yard, she was not present when the work took place. Never got to speak to the husband who gave the estimate and whose employees did the job. One employee walked off the job on the first day! Would not recommend at all, more trouble than its worth.

"I was told to drive thru the yard by the owner in that exact spot and offered to repair the damage but she insisted that it was no problem and her and husband planed on redoing the yard there anyway. The job was done in spring and every one that lives in york county has found out this was the worst ever for rain it rained 3 days out of the week for a month straight. I explain to customers that it will take about 2 weeks to get there to do the job that is normal time frame for all tree services unless you have an emergency this job was not an emergency. I recieved numerous demanding calls from Member to get her job done right away to try and make her happy I grinded the stump in the pouring rain. I was never told anything about chips on neighbors deck she had a 6 ft fence around yard not sure how chips would have missed the truck and cleared the fence. I did leave a small piece of the trunk when she talked to my wife it was only 2ft long and every time I heard the story it got longer 5ft now. If she would have called and said something about the stump I would have taken it away do to the rain I was in a hurry to leave and it slipped my mind HUMAN ERROR sorry Member. We where only told she was unhappy after recieving the bill in the mail then she called to complain and refused to pay the bill. My wife was very nice to Member till she called my wife an idiot and other rude name so my wife hung up on her which just made Member angier do to wife not takeing her insults I was left 3-4 messages with profanity. I could have fixed everything if my wife and I would have been treated like humans and not yelled and screamed at. I wish I could play the messages on here so the world could hear how she acted."
