Instead, our home was left coated in concrete dust, parts of the job were rushed, and unsafe wiring still powers our sump pump. Promised electrician service has yet to happen. Three months later, the $10,000 filtration system is still unusable. This project has cost us significant time, caused stress for our family, and left us with ongoing safety concerns. We cannot recommend this company based on our experience. Although one middle manager tried to help and arranged partial repairs, upper management ignored most issues. Three months later, the air filtration system remains unusable, electrical hazards persist, and no restitution has been made. What an exhausting mistake at a deeply personal cost. "

When the estimator came he explained what would be done to eliminate water issue. When we asked how does water get removed outside and how they would undermine stairs and walls he simple stated the installers will go over that with you when they come. The installers said they would be channeling under the step and walls, which are only 2 1/2 inch walls. The last step was also a simple channel as well. More time consuming perhaps, when you charge $3000.00 more than another contractor, homeowners are believing they are getting a professional job! They cut her stair runner instead of peeling it back so it could be glued back down. she needs replace whole runner now and company could care less including there estimator! sheetrock replacement also more expensive because took a hammer to the walls instead of saw zall,nice straight lines! also have photos."

I live out of town and contracted with them (Brian - owner) to have existing porch steps and underlying pavement demolished and replaced for a family member in the Northampton, PA area. I can easily say that my experience with Brian and Jessica (Lifetime Concrete company coordinator who hand held me all the way thru the job) was one of the best "contractor experiences" I have ever had!! "In June of 2020, we signed a contract with Finishing Edge and gave them a 20% deposit. Unfortunately, the contract did not include a start date, and we felt ignored once they received the deposit. They rarely responded to emails or phone calls over the next 16 months, and frankly we were surprised to find them still in business when we visited their shop in search of a refund. When we requested a refund due to their inaction, they retained 25% of the deposit as a “design fee” for a sidewalk. Since they never got around to doing any work for us, we can't comment on their quality. However, we found their customer service to be essentially nonexistent. Despite the pandemic, simply returning phone calls or emails doesn't seem to be too much to ask. Do not give them a deposit unless you have a guaranteed start date or retain some other leverage. In our experience, they are happy to take your deposit and reluctant to do any work."
