"We met with several local designers when we decided to renovate our kitchen and Guy & F&S was an easy choice! He is extremely friendly and helps make a potentially stressful and worrisome experience into a complete joy! He offers great suggestions and has an expert eye for design but also let's you realize your own ideas without pushing his own. He is also very patient, as my husband and I ended up completely changing our approach for our kitchen design and he was more than accommodating! In the end, we scaled back on our grand plans but couldn't be happier with the finished result. What ended up being smaller scale renovation still completely exceeded our expectations. I didnt realize just how beautiful this kitchen could look! The workers who came to the house were extremely friendly, efficient and skilled! "Do not trust this business. Jim is incompetent, deceitful, careless, irresponsible, and clueless. He lied compulsively from the beginning, breached the contract, began work before permit approval, deceived us into giving money by lying to us that the permit was submitted when it was not, mismanaged our funds by blowing through all the money on what he called a small business expense, and then pressured us into giving more money. He does not know how to manage a project, how to manage funds, or how to draw a plumbing or electric plan to submit for the permit. Our permit was rejected for multiple deficiencies due to this incompetent and poor excuse for a general contractor who pretends he knows everything. He is a scam artist and will lie about anything to steal your hard earned money. He will repeatedly ask you to trust him, but trustworthy people don’t have to ask. He alternates between begging for money and being threatening and aggressive. Don’t fall for this act. We have lost so much time and money. He deserves to lose his license for his unethical and deceitful behavior."

Basic drawer construction requires standard tools, including a saw, drill, measuring tools, and clamps. Advanced joinery benefits from table saw or router capabilities. Most DIYers can complete simple drawers with tools they already own or can borrow.

There should be at least 30 inches of space between the top of the stove, whether gas or electric, and the bottom of any upper cabinets. This typically provides enough clearance to prevent heat damage and meet most building code requirements. If you’re installing a range hood, follow the manufacturer’s guidelines. It may require even more space.

Many cabinets use “J-pulls” or other handless designs. However, frequent use also gets these areas very dirty over time. They’re much less expensive than new soft-close hinges and are simpler to install. However, they don’t always last as long.
