EXCELLENT My house is 130 years old with existing knob n tube wiring. Only part of the electric suddenly went out. I was afraid of a fire starting. The technician was prompt, polite, professional, thorough and very efficient. He tested every power outlet in the house. He determined the problem was where the previous owners connected the knob n tube to a new electric wire to the new electric panel was not tightened as needed. He explained he properly connected the wires and secured the short. I was so pleased with his work that I requested an estimate to completely replace all the knob n tube wiring in the house and add outdoor electrical outlets in front and back of the property. I look forward to seeing Thomas Edison Electric in my driveway this Spring!

Pat was prompt and diagnosed the problem in a timely way. He went and got the part needed to repair the problem and fixed it in a professional way.

In replacing my dryer on short notice I discovered I needed an additional 220V circuit run to my laundry area. I contacted five electricians who offered appointments 2-4 weeks into the future, which was not much help. Thomas Edison by contrast offered same-day service for a fee, or a standard appointment 3 days out plus a wait list. The next day they contacted me saying a tech was available that day, which was great. The tech, Frank, showed up promptly at the appointed time, quickly assessed the situation, gave us an estimate, and completed the work in a couple of hours. He was polite and professional, and the entire team did a very good job of communicating at every step. I would highly recommend this vendor.

Love this company and the two staff electricians that were dispatched to my home. I was pretty nervous to contact an electrician from an online google search, but I was pleasantly surprised. They were honest, fast, explained well and repaired shoddy electrical work that I had done. I am truly grateful that they quickly restored electricity to my home, in time for my first Thanksgiving in my new home!
