My family definitely appreciated Thomas Edison Electric. It is so hard to find a reliable electrician nearby, but this business helped us tremendously. They were quickly able to get us an appointment and was consistent with their communication with us in terms of letting us know the procedures, reminding/confirming the appointment times, and letting us know who to expect at our home. The electrician, Carlos, was amazing. He was very clear about what needed to be fixed and told us the cost before even starting. He made us feel extremely comfortable and fixed the problems efficiently. We have and will continue to recommend this business. Thank you!

I had called Edison after our new range was delivered, and we were told that the old one was hardwired, so the new one couldn't be installed by the delivery crew. I called a few companies, and most were busy for several days. Edison told me that they would schedule me for their next appointment, but would call if they could get me in the next day. They did! Jasin was the electrician who installed the new junction box. He was friendly, professional, and willing to answer questions. We still need to have the old range removed and the new one set up and plugged in, but so far, so good!

It went very well. Thomas Edison was responsive, kept me well informed of the tech’s arrival time. Steve, the gentleman who kept me informed throughout the evening, was wonderful. Leo, my tech, was knowledgeable and personable. I had a lot of questions. He was so patient. I will definitely use Thomas Edison for any problem that arises.

They showed up on time which is a great way to start. Even though they had never encountered a similar situation they assessed the problem, called the office and set the plans to correct my electrical problem. Not having the necessary equipment to fix my problem at this time they assured me that it would be done starting at 7am the next day. Again they showed up on time with all the necessary equipment and people, went right to work and corrected my disastrous problem in about 2 hours. Everything working as it should. Great service and great people.

I called on a Saturday morning and was offered emergency service, I didn't need it emergently, but it was good to know I could have. I scheduled them for Monday, they called early to confirm and arrival window and showed at the beginning of the window (thank you). My Tech was Jasin and he was the best electrician in terms of service I've ever had. He knew from my explanation of the issue I had some knowledge of electrical work so he explained everything he was doing to me. The price felt a bit high, but I'd pay it again for that kind of painless experience!

We worked with Thomas Edison Electric this week and it was a terrific experience. We called them for a second opinion on replacing our electric panel and some wiring and their prices were far more reasonable so it was a no brainer. The electricians that came out were super courteous, respectful in our home and they did a fantastic job! The people I spoke to on the phone were kind and they did their best to work with my schedule. Day of appointments the workers arrived promptly. We have some more work we need done and I will definitely use their services in the future.

Their response time was the quickest by far (with lots of checking in) and they got someone right out to us. We ended up having an issue with our old knob-and-tube wiring, so it was a lot of work and time, but they got it done and the electricians were lovely.

I was very impressed by Thomas Edison Electric, including their quick response to my inquiry, the service provided, and their follow-up. It is hard to find reliable contractors out here in rural central PA, and it's gotten much worse in recent years with the labor shortage. Thomas Edison sent out an electrician quickly who assessed an electrical outage in my basement. The quote was fair and the work was completed the same week. Highly recommend!
