They ran the wire from the wall switch (which was a problem before they came) to the new ceiling housing they installed. They replaced the wall switch but the fan still wouldn't work. I returned it to the store and got a replacement fan. It still didn't work. I called my electrician the next day and he said the neutral wasn't connected. He replaced a socket behind the bed, hooked up the neutral wire and now the fan works."
