Customers say: Super punctual

"The painting was okay but could have been a little more attention to detail as far as not having straight lines and having the brown and white paint separated and not Blended in."

"These guys were great. Very responsive and work was beautiful. I had new carpet installed, ceiling repair and painted, walls painted, exterior power washed, deck repaired and painted plus a few other odds and ends. I was very happy and will be keeping them on my phone for any further projects."

"I sent a form online on Saturday afternoon. I received a call that evening and was unable to answer. I woke up to the door on Sunday morning to the company at my front door to schedule my power washing. It was a bit aggressive, but the work was great. The guy from the company offered to give a quote for a few items on the outside of our house that were already scheduled with other companies - he persisted and I finally told him that we had a contract with those other companies. He left it alone afterward. The work itself was great, the guy was just a bit pushy."

Deck Staining questions, answered by experts

Two coats of stain are ideal for the best protection and aesthetic appeal. However, if your decking is made of particularly dense hardwood, you may only need one coat. If you want an intense color, two coats are ideal.

Yes, you can and should paint or stain pressure-treated wood, as this helps prevent the surface from cracking. However, it is crucial to wait for the wood to dry out completely from the chemical treatment process before applying a finish. If the wood is still wet, the paint will not adhere properly. The drying time can range from weeks to six months. To test if the wood is ready, drip some water onto a board. If the water is absorbed, the wood is dry enough for painting or staining. If the water beads up on the surface, it needs more time to dry. You can build with the wood while it's still wet, but you must wait for it to dry before painting.

You have a couple of options when choosing a durable pool deck coating. Epoxy is common and offers excellent stain and water resistance. Epoxy also withstands high temperatures and UV lighting, making it ideal for sunny spots. You can also add a coating to cement, which significantly lowers the temperature of the concrete, is environmentally safe, and makes cleanup a breeze.

To make sure the paint won’t bubble as you apply it, make sure to paint on a day that’s cooler than 85 degrees Fahrenheit. When the temperature is too high, the paint won’t dry evenly, which can result in bubbles forming on the surface. Another way to prevent paint from bubbling is to clean the walls, apply primer, and let everything dry completely before you begin.

Yes, pressure-treated wood can occasionally turn green due to certain preservatives, such as copper-based chemicals, used during the treatment process. These chemicals react with the wood, creating a greenish tint. The good news? It's temporary, and the color will fade over time. Staining or painting can also help hide any unwanted hues.
