Had to pay in full in advance. Didn't start until 2 weeks after contracted completion date. Communication was non- existent. Basic deck - good. Finish/details: very poor. Response to comments: very poor. They left several hundred dollars worth of materials behind. Will never use them again.

1st meeting to begin process was on 7/12/14. Signed contract and paid IN FULL on 7/24/14. Had problems at every turn, too many to write here. Cabinets weren't delivered until 8/18 and install didn't begin until 9/18 (we took a 9 day vacation in late August). There were constant delays and problems. Apparently they were short an installer, so the one assigned to us was working on multiple projects at same time. There was frequent miscommunication and no accountability on their part. We will never do business with Lowes again. The fact that they want payment in full at start is ridiculous and looking back, that was our biggest mistake. The only good news is that it all looks very good now.

It was an absolutely beautiful experience. It is just nice getting a good deal every now and then and I sure needed paint supplies so that was perfect. I have been painting the house and getting it ready for sale and all that. I go there often in the past several months and everybody there is friendly and courteous. When I used the gift card nothing special happened. It was just a normal shopping trip. I will probably head there later this week again.

Researched dehumidifiers and decided to a buy Soleus 70 pint  unit from Lowes.   The purchase was made on the internet  to be picked up at the store.  Everything went well;  the product was ready to pick up within minutes after my arrival at the store. The customer service personnel were proficient.  My feedback to Lowes is that they could have provided this big bulky package on a flat bed device and even offered assistance to load it into my car.  It was a little difficult for me to lift the bulky package out of the standard shopping cart for loading into my car. I installed the unit at home with little effort.  The price was good considering I spent about as much for the older Sears (LG)model that was recalled.

They broke a glass shelf when removing my old refrigerator and did not let me know. I called Lowe's and was so frustrated, they ended up replacing the shelf for me. I asked that they send different delivery men since the others were disrespectful, and they said they would never send them again. The next week the same men showed up with my stove! They had never been told that I called about the broken shelf. I asked why they did not tell me they broke it and they said they forgot. The store manager was very responsive and gave me discounts on the appliances I just felt the people under the main store manager were not competent. I would rather have paid more money somewhere else to receive better service. It took 2 months to resolve all the issues which was frustrating.

The salesperson was helpful in assisting me with my decision. From my experiences, Lowe's have more available employees than another home improvement store. They truly offer better customer service. I appreciate their low pricing and wide variety of products. Unfortunately, I do not have an accurate dollar amount.

The sales people were all nice and helpful. They waived delivery and installation and the haul away charge, even though the sale price took us under 399. They arranged delivery for the next day on SUNDAY! and showed up exactly when we asked them to at 1 pm. There is no staying home from work for half a day! The delivery men were polite and professional. It was our best experience with delivery people.

Our overall experience was poor. Despite numerous calls to the contact person at Lowe's, Bill Repco, we never received a complete bid for the work. The 3 subcontractors who came to our house were professional. The problem seemed to be at Lowe's. First our order was lost. They eventually gave us a bid for only part of the work. With small exception, the employees we dealt with in the store seemed disinterested in providing us with information. The people who spoke with us did not seem to have the depth of knowledge necessary to provide us with useful advice. When a company has this much trouble getting a bid together, they clearly cannot be relied on to coordinate & take responsibility for a large project. We decided to go with another company.
