"I am a partner in a home improvement company in Lancaster, PA but it is nearly impossible for me to pull my crew off of jobs to have them do work on my cabin since it is 3 hours away. I hired William back in 2016 to put on a new deck and replace my siding and gutters and I was so impressed with his work, I hired him again in 2017 to redo my carport and replace the walkways at my place. He is extremely professional and does a fantastic job."

"They installed a pavilion in my backyard. Overall, I am satisfied with the quality of the workmanship. Very satisfied with communication and customer service. I would have given Amish Gazebo a 5 star. However, carpenters did not cleanup after themselves. Left a bag of styrofoam packing in my yard. Also, left a beer can in my bushes and plastic container in my fire pit."

"Omar and his crew at LOA are undoubtedly the best and most professional contractors around. They are hard working with attention to detail. I have had many projects that Omar has done.. From a gas outdoor pit, to our back porch (which I am truly in love with and get so so so many compliments on), to my front sidewalk and last but definitely not least, the stone work on the front of my house, along with new porch railing and my most awesome screen and front door. I am thanking him a couple times a day on how much I love it. Next project? Not sure, but it will definitely LOA doing it! Anyone that has given bad reviews, I need to tell youâ ¦ YOU are undoubtedly the issue.. Any one that is not thoroughly pleased with LOAâ s work, there is something wrong with you.. . LOA crew, keep up the great work! Until the next project comes around. ð"

Gazebos questions, answered by experts

Professionals ensure safe, thorough repairs using quality materials, extending the life of your structure.

Porticos last 25 to 60 years, depending on the material used. A portico’s roof typically matches the roof of the rest of the home and can be replaced simultaneously. Portico columns have a similar life span if properly maintained and regularly sealed. In some areas, harsh weather and extreme temperatures may cause a portico to wear more quickly.

Clean regularly, seal wood surfaces, and inspect for damage or rust to ensure longevity and safety.

Several types of porches are available to meet your needs and style preferences. Some common porch types include:

  • Porticos are essentially a roof over a walkway leading to the home's front entrance.

  • Sunrooms are closed-in porches that are an extension of the house with glass or plastic panels that allow optimal sunlight.

  • Wraparound porches extend around the entire home, or at least the front and one side, and offer multiple entrances to the house.

  • Back porches are an extension of the home’s floor into the outdoors. These offer more protection and privacy than a deck.

To make the gazebo accessible, you can build a wheelchair pathway leading up to it. The path should be paved with a smooth surface for wheelchairs to roll through. A low curb should be placed along each side to ensure the wheelchair stays on the path. At the end of the path, build a wheelchair ramp connecting the gazebo.
