Very well, the inspector made sure to personally show us problem areas. He was informative and made suggestions where appropriate.

Tom arrived promptly and proceeded deliberately and at fast pace through the inspection. He was unabtrusive throughout completion of the job. A thorough verbal report was provided upon completion including pictures of areas that needed my attention. Tom was open to any questions and provided clear explanation of the results of the inspection. He was clearly very knowledgeable, experienced and professional, providing a highly credible report. The only challenge with the process was getting access to the final report that was posted online. There was a somewhat awkward process to provide an electronic signature before I could download and print the report (the signature application did not work with Internet Explorer requiring Foxfire instead). Once I got access to the report, I received a highly satisfactory and usable document including simple, clear explanations with pictures.

The inspector was recommended by my realtor. He was easy to reach, professional, always on time, and explained what he was going to do in a clear way. He identified a couple of problems with the property which were then entered into contract and fixed -- but missed two major issues. One was the subfloor in a part of the house which was significantly damaged resulting in the floor being extremely creaky -- and becoming progressively more concave. I had a contractor walk through the house after closing, and he noticed this problem right away. The other issue was the roof -- the inner layer of wooden planks, to which the sheeting is nailed, is seriously damaged. Many are cracked up, many obviously broken with pieces coming off and there are spots where the underside of the sheeting is visible. I realized this is a problem today, strong wind plus rain -- and the roof leaks! I hired a house inspector because i am not familiar with how the inside of a good roof looks and how the floor should sound. I think i was expecting too much and should have brought contractors by for more in-depth look.

Bought a coupon for a home inspection via Angie's List, and this company couldn't have been any nicer, more thorough, or more professional. I received a full written report tonight after only having the inspection done this morning, and the gentleman who arrived had a few handy tips and tricks for preserving/maintaining certain aspects of the house in question. Thanks so much; this was a really great value!

I had a very positive experience with Inspect It 1st Property Inspection. Craig is very professional. Even after the inspection I had a few follow up questions and he was very thorough with his response. I would give him an ‘A’ across the board and would definitely use him in the future.

The inspection went okay, however the report did not include any comments regarding the back sliding door which has an obvious defect that should have been reported. Other than that the inspection was fine. The main reason I can't give them an A is because of the the way I was treated when trying to contract with them. The Customer service rep immediately tried to charge me $200 more than what was originally advertised on Angies list and tried to claim that some of the services were mandatory due to the size of the house and the size of the house required the price to be higher. All which were untrue and I inevitably paid the advertised price

We are so thrilled with the work performed by Inspect It 1st....Tom who was the inspector was absolutely outstanding. Tom showed up for our appointment very promptly (actually he was a few minutes early!) and did not rush through this inspection. He was very knowledgeable and gave many tips for leaving in our new home. Tom really took his time and went above and beyond, answered every question we had! We received the final inspection report the same night that we had the inspection performed. We want to tell everyone about what a great job they did, and hopefully this review will help spread the word. A very stressful time was made that much earlier as a result of Tom and Inspect It 1st!

Their service was fine. Their inspection itself was good. The additional services for the loan were not helpful at all. They were a little slow and difficult to get ahold of.

They did great. He was professional and quick. He gave me the sheet the next day.

We learned a lot about our new home. Chris found that radon levels were high. My wife was nervous about a home with high levels of radon with young kids. Chris put her mind at ease when he explained the process of mitigating the radon. We were able to get the sellers to pay for this due to the thorough inspection.

Mr. Earley was on time and came with all the equipment he needed on his very professional truck. He was uniformed and was well versed in Real estate. The first place he went was the basement and worked his way to the roof. Left nothing unseen nor untouched. This took some time and he was willing to spend it with us. Mr. Earley looked over every concern and addressed them. We were very pleased and would hire him for any Real Estate transaction.

Chris did a very thorough job in inspecting our house. He was very professional, responsive and attentive to details and I would recommend him in the future. With a quick turn around, he sent us a detailed report with photos of the various issues affecting our house. That allowed us to go back to the seller and get all of the items completed before the settlement date. We were pleased!
