Patrick was great and was able to come out right away despite us waiting so long to open the pool. He removed our solid pool cover, cleaned it, and folded it up and put it in the casing. In addition to opening the pool, Patrick identified a few things that we want to consider for the future regarding the structural integrity of our pool. Patrick is extremely knowledgable and we will be using his service for pool opening and closing from now on.

This was just terrible. I was very shocked that a businees person would act this way. His behavior was violent verbally and gross. I would never want this person on my property and doing anything in my home or grounds.

Patrick worked out his schedule and came to our house on Sunday morning on a relatively short notice. He addressed all of our questions in a respectful and patient manner. He definitely has tons of experience in the pool maintenance/repair business and more importantly is willing to help you. He did not push us to do additional unnecessary work on the pool or sell us additional products/chemicals. He showed us how to operate the pool filtration system, heater, and recommended must-do things to keep the pool in good working condition. He also cleaned our DT filter and made sure that everything was in working order. Overall, I am very pleased with his service. Patrick is courteous, professional, and responsive. I will definitely do business with him again ---highly recommended.

The inspection was fine, the service was fine, they came out when they were supposed to and I would certainly use them again. We didn’t have the actual work done. They seemed very knowledgeable. They seemed to know everything about our pool. They were able to understand the intricacies that we have, like we have an odd structure, like a water fall, and we have got some odd diverting and they were able to understand and explain a lot of that to us.

Seriously, I live in Delco and have been trapped by a pool service in Springfield and Media that has given me nothing but grief. I'm so glad to find this company and pay them for quality work that they actually DO!!! 5 stars on this guy. I was so comfortable I paid him before the job was done because I had to leave and came back to a clean work sight and more work then I expected. He did some plumbing work and other touches without my asking and without any additional charges. AAAAAAAAAAAAAA++++ Don't make him too busy though. I need additional work done later in the season (pool light is out)

I called Pat a few days ago after Arrow Pool repeated left us hanging as to exactly when they would be able to repair this leak. Pat asked me to take a picture of the leak; text it to him; and he would get back to me with an estimate for the work and when he could come out to repair the leak. True to his word, shortly after I texted the photos he sent an estimate and a date of service 3 days later. He was on time , did excellent work , better than any other pool company We've used before. During what I'm sure is his busiest time of year, Pat was still professional and provided excellent service. My husband is so impressed, that he already scheduled our pool closing with them.

Called on Monday 4/7 and scheduled an appointment for Friday 4/11 to obtain an estimate. I was advised that it was busy season and that they were a small company, so he couldn't give a specific time, but would call when on his way. It is now Monday 4/14. I waited to write this review with hopes that I would get a call before today with an apology and explanation for a NO SHOW - NO CALL. I have not heard from the company :-(

Patrick installed a new pool heater recommending the best match for our pool and our needs. He worked 2 days instead one for no additional price. He gave us very good recommendations about maintenance of the equipment leading to a substantial cost saving. He instructed us about the equipment and gave all sorts of very useful recommendations for the best water quality . We developed budget plan for future steps in this and coming years. We want Patrick to be our permanent pool service provider.

I selected American Pool Concepts (APC) because of its Angie's List reviews and ratings. I contacted them about four tears I noticed in the shallow end of my pool and was quoted $250 for a visit to repair the holes. While I felt the cost was on the high side, it needed to be addressed promptly, and APC was the most responsive of the service providers I called. Company owner Patrick McNeil arrived on time and assessed the situation. After inspecting the small tears he proposed to place circular patches over each tear. To match the color of the liner he utilized existing liner stock from his truck and a match was made. He applied the patches and they look quite good (for a patch). He then inspected other parts of the pool and found three more small holes and patched them. I asked him if he could include reattaching the liner where it had pulled away from the coping along the deck in this visit. After several pots of boiling water to soften the liner, he was successful in reattaching the liner. Bottom line: He did MORE than he said he would do for what he quoted me (what a concept!) and earned my trust to engage him again for other pool service needs, and to highly recommend his services.

They showed up when they said they would and worked until after dark to complete the opening in one visit. Very professional, would definitely use them again.

Amazing work- quick, professional, for better price than all 2 competitors we had dealt before. We would be happy having Patrick McNeil as our swimming pool provider for many years to come. Replacement of 35 year old filter and pump was not easy job. Patrick spent ~ 8 hours on weekend day without any additional charges. They provided extremely competent recommendations which saved us a fair amount of time and money.

Patrick and John were professional, responsive, courteous and extremely competent. Our pool liner had exceeded its useful life and began leaking to the degree I could no longer find and patch leaks. Patrick provided an estimate of the job (liner replacement) on-line then came out to the house at the arranged time. Patrick also provided options for installing stairs into the pool and showed us a variety of different liner patterns from which to choose. Suffice is to say my wife and I liked Patrick and John immediately. Patrick ordered the liner last week an and replaced the liner this week. Also, the new stairs look beautiful and will be great for my little ones. Honestly, the pool looks amazing and we couldn't be happier with the entire experience. The job was completed on budget, on time and of the highest quality. What more could we possibly want? Great job guys!!!

It was an easy repair, but I didn't know what kind of bulb and where to buy it. And electricity and water are not a great combination and I don't want to fool around with them. Nice people.

he said he would charge me $ 150.00 just to come out and turn a valve, i am about 20 miles away from him, i thought that was a ripoff, otherwise they seem nice and knowledgeable

We elected to do the work next Spring.

They did excellent work, fair price, they came out right on time, answered our calls and they were an excellent company.

I was very pleased with the service that Patrick and John provided. They were efficient, thorough, and were focused on doing a quality job. As it has been 15+ years since I last had a house with a pool, what I had forgotten was far more than I remembered about maintaining a pool. Patrick took the time to walk me through everything again, provided useful recommendations on where to find what I needed out on the web, and left me feeling in good shape on what to do to maintain my pool on my own. In addition, Patrick provided me with a good overview of my existing equipment, what shape it was in, what to watch for - as some of it is pretty old, and how much it will cost to replace some components whenever that time arrives. I especially appreciated that Patrick didn't try to push any services on me that I did not require. Truly felt like I was working with someone that wanted to help me get the best out of my pool while charging a fair price for his services. When the time comes to close the pool later this year, there is no question where I will go - right back to American Pool Concepts.

Patrick is the best. He arrives on time, does more than he promises to do, finishes the work on time and all for a very fair price. He does the work himself and is extremely responsive. We have finally found a reliable pool contractor. We are customers for life!

It went well. The team showed up on time, did a good job and were knowledgeable. The questions I had were answered on the phone prior to the job. The only mishap was that they underestimated the amount of water i the pool; They did not bring a large enough basin to contain it; the choice was to either go back to the office and get an additional one or empty the water into the ground which they did. It toll a whole day to refill the pool and there was a huge waste of water.

I am very happy and please with the timely manner of the services where preformed . He told me he would start on June 30th and finish 3 weeks later and he met that time. I now am enjoying the fruit of his labor!
