I specialize in interior paint/stain jobs, I do not have set prices because I let the customer order/purchase the paint and tools needed for thier specific job so you know your exact cost for supplies and all we negotiate is the labor price, I have been painting properties for 20+ years and am cost effective because I work alone rather then with a crew which is undeniably making me the most trustworthy and reliable painter in Chester county threw word of mouth, I can mix any color you can think of and guarantee you the best results.

Locksmiths questions, answered by experts

Keyless locks are often considered safer since they’re protected by passcodes instead of a physical key, making it harder to be picked. However, they are not infallible. And like all electronic devices, outdated models are more prone to problems and safety concerns. If you’ve experienced multiple lockouts in the past year, or your lock is responding slower than usual after you key in the passcode, it might be time to upgrade to a newer one. Even if your lock is working fine, you should still change your access code at least twice a year.

There are different types of deadbolts. The most common type is a single-cylinder deadbolt, which you may recognize on your front door. This type of lock has a keyhole on the outside and a thumb turn on the inside. A double-cylinder deadbolt has two locking mechanisms and requires a key to engage on the inside as well as the outside.

If part of the key is protruding out of the lock, you can use a pair of needle-nosed pliers or tweezers to gently turn the key in the lock to open the door. If the key is fully inserted into the lock, you may also be able to use a key extractor to help turn the key into the unlocked position.

But if the key breaks off halfway into the lock or you simply can’t reach it to help engage the unlocking mechanisms, you should probably call a professional.

Smart door locks are safe to use and are usually considered safer than traditional locks with keys. While all electronic devices can be hacked, that doesn’t happen nearly as frequently in real life as people may think. You can also invest in multiple locks of different types for enhanced security so you don’t rely solely on one smart lock.

Regrettably, entirely pick-proof locks don't exist unless you opt for keyless varieties. Locks advertised as "pick-proof" are, in reality, more resilient against lock-picking and bumping attempts because of complex mechanisms consisting of pins and sidebars. These locks work like this—they assign two tasks to the key, enhancing security by making unauthorized entry more challenging.
