On Electric

Matt came on time and did a splendid job. He was very efficient and carefully explained everything that he was doing or needed to do. He's also a very nice guy. The office staff at ON is also very knowledgeable and efficient. The estimates are based on time and parts. Because Matt really knew his business and the job was not as complex as it could have been, the time and cost were well under the estimate originally given. A nice surprise. I'd certainly hire him and ON Electric again.

Mark arrived on time and discussed what needed to be done. He went to work and did an excellent job. Mark was professional, and did a great job of answering my questions and made sure that I was satisfied with the results. He cleaned up everything before he left. I will hire On Electric for all of my future electrical needs.

Electrician arrived a little early and completed installations in less than two hours as planned. Everything went well although one fixture arrived from the supplier with a broken piece; he showed us how to reinstall the replacement piece when it arrives and also offered to come back and do it as part of the original job if we had any problems.

On Electric provided us with a mid-range bid (not the lowest or highest bid we received), and was able to schedule us promptly. We had an 8:00 am appointment, and Mark of On Electric showed up on time (5 mins early, actually) and ready to go. He listened to what we wanted, provided a few options describing costs (that fell within the bid range) and potential impacts to drywall, and modified the suggestions further based on our feedback. Mark was kind, efficient, and the final job is flawless. We will use On Electric for all future electrical work .

Mark is a Southern gentleman that as an Electrician, knows his craft well. He did a super job for us and would definitely hire him again.

The electrician was prompt ( a little early in fact). He was polite, professional, and also a welder which meant he understood exactly what I needed. He was very fast and completed the job in less than 2 hours. The outlet installation was neat and placed exactly where I wanted it. If I ever need electrical work again they will be my first call.

Mark was excellent- he showed up on time, kept the project under budget and ahead of schedule. Did the work as requested, and went above and beyond with it. He was cautious, and accommodating of the awful wiring done by previous owners without a single complaint. He completely cleaned up after himself (And even after another sub that left a bit of a mess). I'll be asking for Mark by name in the future- GIVE THIS GUY A RAISE!

Decided on On Electric versus their competitors who gave total job estimates and it paid off. Not only did they send me, Mark, a true electrical rockstar, but he performed the work quickly, saving me hundreds. After work was performed, the outlets were tested and workspace was cleaned up impeccably. Mark was very personable, knowledgeable and professional. On Electric is very transparent with their pricing too. I’ll be using them for all my electrical work in the future.

The journeymen were professional and not only did a great job, but let me take on some of the labor to help with the cost. I am grateful for this. They had an apprentice come out that was not as helpful, but they ultimately did not charge for him. Overall, very happy.

Couldn't be much better; I called and they came and fixed everything I asked for, the very next day! Mark, the electrician, suggested the new basement lighting grid and installed it, excellent job and we'll definitely use On Electric again.

On Electric was great! I was having foam insulation blown into by exterior walls and found an outlet, switch and exterior light that still had knob and tube (house was built in 1915). On Electric sent someone out the same day I called to take a quick look at the work required and had the same electrician out there 2 days later to perform the work. This kept the insulation contractors on schedule and helped us avoid a potentially dangerous situation.

Everything went as smooth as could be. 2 hours of labor and my outlet is all set up where I wanted it, in a tricky wall to do so, with all internal wiring. No unattractive hanging wires.

This was a very positive service experience in every regard. Mark, the electrician, was courteous, punctual, professional and knowledgeable. Electricians are hard to find considering the construction boom in Portland. Much to my pleasant surprise, On Electric was able to send out an electrician the day after I called. He came to repair or replace my ceiling fan. It turned out that wasn't needed. I appreciated that he let me know that upon inspecting it. Since I was paying for his time anyhow, he asked what else I needed. I had him install a new outlet in my bedroom. The work was done well and quickly. I definitely will be hiring On Electric again.

I'm just handy enough to get myself into big trouble when something goes wrong, and On Electric was able to get out to our house the same week we called them, doing the work we originally requested and much more. Their standard pricing is comparable to the other companies I called, but once they added a coupon they had running, it was better than the rest. Mark was the electrician assigned to us, and he was really fantastic! He's our guy from now on -- he's friendly and thoughtful, with good suggestions to offer, and he's willing to answer all kinds of questions. He talked us through our options, worked fast, and did quality work. He even had to put on his detective hat to figure out some of our house's bizarre wiring and my a misstep of my own. Vanessa at the office was also very pleasant to work with on scheduling and answered all of my questions. I would definitely hire On Electric again, and if/when I do, I'll request Mark by name!

An outstanding experience! It started with a pleasant and responsive interaction with the scheduler. The electrician, Mark was friendly, knowledgeable and worked quickly. He took the time to thoroughly explain the issue, how the switches worked, made sure I was satisfied and confirmed if I had any other needs or concerns. Mark is a great representative for the company! Sometimes one wonders if they were taken advantage of but I felt there is a lot of integrity here and cannot see how the appointment could have been any better. Highly recommend Mark and the company.
