"Ryan was awesome to work with. Punctual--called each day before he came. Not only did he come in exactly as quoted--he deducted for two chairs because they didn't take him as long as he thought. He was methodical and meticulous. I would (will) definitely use him again!"

1994 years of experience

Cutting Edge Custom Cabinets was founded in 1994. The owners of Cutting Edge have more than 100 years of combined cabinetry experience. We have built thousands of kitchens in all styles and in a wide variety of wood species. We have been published in national magazines and local media. Cutting Edge has produced award winning kitchens for the Street of Dreams, Parade of Homes and Tour of Remodeled Homes. Our primary business is kitchens and bathrooms, but we will also produce smaller jobs such as a home office, laundry room or entertainment centers. License: OR CCB 103222, WA Resellers Permit A05386813. All custom wooden cabinetry (no modulars), built to fit. Will finish, deliver and install. Open Saturday and evenings by appointment with sales representative. Additional phone: (877) 501-9628.

"Absolutely zero accountability exhibited by this company. Not only were cabinets delivered of the wrong dimension, they were also missing specifications that we talked in length about (no bead board backing and soft close hinges until I pointed them out as misses). New cabinets had to be made which extended the duration of the project which I the general contractor had to absorb financial repercussions for with ZERO compensation from them to help right the expenditures of the project. After second cabinets were made, they were rushed (which was shown in the finished product such as blown out nails, mis aligned face frame etc.) and still a critical aspect of the design were flagrantly missed. Pictures detail the work. Face frame needed to be tucked into a groove in the stone work which was explicitly detailed from the outset of the project. This company is quick to send an invoice, even before the product is fully installed but plays the finger point game for days/weeks without any haste for a solution besides threatening to lein my customers home. Clients had to compromise on a horrible experience with this company plus all of the aspects of poor execution while no compensation was offered what so ever. CECC still charged full price and asserted they do great work and that without sending anyone to even set eyes on the project they were fully preparing to execute a lein for non payment. PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS"

Bafford Construction is an all phase general contracting company specializing in custom homes and remodels. We also provide subcontracting to other contractors for framing and siding. Bafford construction currently has 10 employees. Since beginning my construction career in 1997, I have spent time working in and learning multiple trades involved in the home building process. My passion to become a custom home builder/ remodeler began during the three years I worked as a project manager for a custom home builder here in Central Oregon. Since then I have continued to build and perfect my team of subcontractors whom I rely heavily on in creating and completing each individual project. I strive to complete each project with the utmost quality and to do so takes proper supervision and top notch subcontractors. Quality is never sacrificed in my business!

We are a full service home improvement company. The thing that sets us apart is the quality of the finished product and the quality of the process! Every customer is treated with greatest care and respect possible. We do almost all the work ourselves at Herndon Remodeling, sub-contracting only major electrical, plumbing, and roofing.

A cross brace for a fence gate should stretch from the top corner of the gate’s hinge side to the bottom corner of its latch side at a 45-degree angle to the bottom of the gate. This positioning distributes the bulk of the gate’s weight to the base of the post, taking pressure off the top hinge.

Rather than using a common two-by-four piece of wood for a rafter, you probably will use two-by-six, two-by-eight, two-by-ten, or even two-by-twelve boards. Wider lumber is typically a better choice in a larger building as it provides more sturdiness. Some installers may use wider lumber for rafters near the edges of the roof, where the greatest stress occurs, and save money with narrower lumber toward the middle.

Yes, professionals offer various roofing materials, including shingles and metal, to match home aesthetics.

Garages are often equipped with lighting, electrical boxes, and sometimes even heating and cooling, while carports rarely have utilities. A garage is an enclosed structure that can lock and usually has an automatic door. A carport is often wood or plastic and is designed only to protect a car from elements like rain, snow, and hail. Carports are commonly seen on property where an attached garage is unfeasible but can be a cost-effective solution for car protection for anyone without a completed garage.

Regular sealing, repainting, and checking for wood rot or pest infestations help maintain longevity.
