"Glowing Review We couldn’t be happier with the work Jesse Chouinard and Day Dream Remodel LLC did on our bathroom! Jesse completed a complete renovation for us, and the finished bathroom turned out absolutely beautiful. He took the time to make sure everything we wanted was done, and the quality of the workmanship exceeded our expectations. Throughout the entire project, Jesse was courteous, professional, dependable, and a pleasure to work with. He truly cared about making sure we were happy with the finished product, and that really showed in the attention to detail and the quality of the work. We highly recommend Jesse and Day Dream Remodel LLC—without hesitation and to the highest degree. "Stephan did a great job remodeling our bathroom. When things didn't go as planned he was able to pivot and make it work and it turned out better than we had planned. He was a good communicator and we were able to do some of the work ourselves without complaint which saved us money."

"Purchased coupon on August 11, 2011.  Because I was remodeling my kitchen myself after work and weekends, I didn't have time to deal with the creating the room drafts, plans, layouts or measurements she required.  I did contact Jill and explain the situation and she was very understanding.  She said because I contacted her, not to worry about the deadline.  I remained in contact with her over the next few years (that's how long it took me) and when I was ready around the start of 2014, she worked hard to provide her new design.
A true professional and great person to work with.  The design was spot on and my wife and i were very impressed.  Thank you Jill.

Tub Shower Conversion FAQs, answered by experts

Yes, $5,000 is a healthy budget for a DIY bathroom renovation. It can go a long way in making the space more accessible and stylishly spa-like. Providing you stick to modest materials and don’t make any major plumbing or structural changes, you can upgrade fixtures, retile, and add some stylish bathroom accessories and savvy storage solutions to maximize the space.

In some cases, a broken shower is a maintenance emergency. For example, burst pipes, flooding, and significant leaks all qualify as plumbing emergencies and should be handled immediately. Other shower issues (like slow draining and low water pressure) aren’t as urgent, but it’s still a good idea to address them sooner rather than later.

Most shower arms are ½-inch national pipe thread (NPT). It’s best to check the thread size before buying a new shower arm or showerhead to ensure everything will fit together once you’re ready to install. Remember that older homes or those outside North America may not have standard pipe or thread sizes, which can complicate installation and make it more important to check the thread size before buying.

The P-trap is an essential part of the shower drain and is installed directly below it. It mainly functions as a barrier, preventing sewer gases and their odors from seeping into your bathroom. It also helps catch clogs so they don’t end up deeper in your home’s plumbing, where they’re more difficult to remove.

Adding another bathroom isn’t the most complicated project you can undertake, but it’s in the top 5%. Anything involving plumbing and electrical work should be handed off to a pro, and adding a half bath involves both. A contractor may charge $70 to $120 an hour for labor, but chances are they can work much faster and more accurately than a DIYer.
