Jonathan was wonderful...Yaeger responded to our install, when no other plumbing contractor would respond in a timely fashion. They installed our gas line so that we were able to have a dual fuel range/oven that worked for the holidays! Although they seemed a little higher priced, they were knowledgable, professional and completed the tasks. Tracy and Echo in the office were also quick to answer questions and get us the help we needed.

They called to come in the morning rather than the afternoon, which worked for us. Very friendly, did a terrific job. Not cheap (nearly $1200) but brought us up to code and I expected a cost around what I paid.

It wasn't an emergency so had them set up a date and time that was 2 weeks away. Wasn't sure of the cost as it depended on which fix was done. They asked me for some pictures that I sent them online and they figured that it would probably be an easy fix running the line through the foundation to a new spigot. They showed up on time. Plumber and apprentice took them approximately 3/4 hour to do the job. They were very professional and friendly.

Yeager is great all around except for their price compared to others. Feel I was overcharged but I do know the work was done right.

Work Done By.    Yeager's Plumbing
1654 SE Ivy Ave.
Roseburg, OR 97470
Work Date: March 26, 2015
1: Damaged Personnel Property.
When removing old water heater they drain the water out the door onto the ground gouging  a smell ditch into our gravel walkway,   did not attempt  to fix or cover over just left it.  When testing the water system just open a valve and let the water run on the floor of the laundry room.  They did mop it up with old rag? (most of it)
2: Damaged Public Property.
When Attempting to shut off the water main to the house they broke the main water valve and the city utility workers had to be called in to fix the main water valve resulting  in another unpaved hole on the Street in front of out home.
3:  When Finish showed no pride in their work:
Wire from the remote just hanging down the side of the wall, I had to request that they clean up the wiring by suggesting that they put the wires in a small tub that would attach to the wall making it look 100% better.  And they did this. Had to ask them to plug a hole in the floor from the old water heater to stop small critters from getting into the house,  And they did this.         But I had to ask.
4: Accounting Errors,
When given estimate, I was told I would pay half of the balance when gas line install into the house and the balance when project was done,
When installer put the gas line into the house he did not know about any payment. January of 2015.
I had a credit card promotion going on so I call into the office and make a $500.00 payment late January  2015
When job finish I was presented with a bill for the full amount although I had prepaid $500.00, I ask if I could get an itemize bill with unit cost, Materials, and labor.  They could not or would not itemize the bill for me so I told them I would call the office and pay them over the phone.
Called the Office and they said that they would send me an Itemize bill,  Paid full amount over the phone at this time.        Eight day later and No Itemize bill yet?
5: After  they left I found debris around the work area,  Screws left on the floor, short piece of copper pipe left on the ground outside, the electric wire form the old hot water tank, another short piece of  PVC pipe with a fitting on end.
I know they are all small thing, but they showed NO PRIDE  in their workmanship and left a mess for us to clean up.
After 4 Days the Tankless Gas Water Heater Quit in the middle of my shower, it was Sunday and all I had was COLD water.   After reading the troubleshooting Guide found that the condensate drain tube was clogged,  It had been installed so that it was jam into the ground that cause it to clogged.   Remove the condensate tube for the hole through the floor and the unit work fine.
Called Yeager?s on Monday about the problem with the condensate tube, someone came by to fix the problem,  would not listen to the problem I was having just wanted to fix the pipe,  no apology for not doing the job right the first time, No sorry for you inconvenient, NO time for the customer. he cut off a short price of the condensate tube to fix the problem,  Gave him a Draft copy of this letter, When  he left I found the short price of tubing for us to pick up.  Trash can two feet away.  ?
To this date April 3 The project is not done,  I was promise a 110 Vote outlet where the old hot water tank Eclectic wire came out of the wall,  Was told ?Electrician on the way?  still waiting,   All the installers did was put in a 220 dryer plug.   So if I get Two dryers, I all set
The Country building inspector did not approve the installment of the hot water heater.
After two weeks, they came out to fix the problems
I do not expect, nor do I want anything, I just want you to know about my experience with Yeager's Plumbing

It went well. Price wasn't cheap because I had a pedestal sink with very difficult to access pipes. It was well worth it, though, as I did the other sink myself and it took all day. $200 was money well spent.

I called Yaegers based on the Angie's list review and talking to a neighbor. They were very courtesy on the phone and walked me through turning of the water and gas to my water heater. They gave me a time estimate of 2-3 hours but were on site within 1 hour. The service took less then 45 minutes and they removed my old water heater. The only thing I found troublesome is that they began work without telling the price. I had to ask. On the invoice there was not a price break down for labor vs cost. They installed and AO 40 gal natural gas 6 year water heater. The price range that I found after they were here was between $400 to $670 for this brand. The company did not give me an option on brand or price.

We were impressed with the guy who came and gave us the estimate, but were disappointed that he wasn't the guy who did the installation.  We were not as impressed with the guy who did the actual installation, as he was just a little sloppy and some things needed adjustment after he left, like the drain pipe that empties into the sink and sticks out at a weird angle, because he didn't use an angle joint that really fit the situation.  He left the back door open the whole time, freezing the whole house and causing our heaters to work overtime.  He didn't make any attempt to level the water heater, though our concrete floor is very tilted, and the water heater looks bizarre strapped to the wall in that position.  None of this would prevent me from using their service again, but I will ask more questions, like who will do the actual installation, and I will keep a closer eye on things during the installation.

This is a father-son ownership in business for many years. They were prompt with services considering how busy they are. The bill was more than reasonable. Plumbers initial insight was right on. Super conscientious. Very kind and respectful, they are the only one that many use in our community.

Overall, it was a good experience. I had to have them come back out and adjust the thermostat for me, the factory specs are too low for my liking, and there was no additional change for this. They are very friendly and professional. I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone in need of a plumber.
