Northwest Spa Maintenance

This was a last minute request. We were leaving to go out of town for 2 weeks and I wanted the hot tub clean and ready for our housesitter. It was perfect and helped in a very last minute request!

It went very good. I was very pleased with it. The Northwest Spa Maintenance was very helpful. I asked them a lot of questions and he was able to answer everything. He gave me some additional information about the spa. The spa is very old. It's about 18 - 20 years old. He did a very good job. He was very punctual. There were no additional charges. We thought it was a very good deal.

I first used this company with a coupon to clean the spa. Taylor was terrific and VERY thorough. So when I had a maintenance issue, I called Taylor. Once again he was prompt and professional. My spa has never worked better. I'm a very happy camper and will turn to him again when needed!

Taylor continues to provide excellent service on a twice-monthly basis for my spa. He understands that, due to financial considerations, I may have to discontinue his service soon and is willing to teach me how do care for the spa myself. He maintains the water according to the amount of time I use the spa, and offers tips and tricks to help keep things fresh and running properly. Taylor is polite, friendly, professional, and leaves a detailed list of the chemicals used and the quantities. I cannot say enough good things about this company!

He arrived on time. He worked hard. He did exactly as we agreed. He was there for an hour and a half, and charged for one service call. Due to the nature of my hot tubs problem I will need a new control panel which is outside the scope of my budget right now. However, Taylor said he would be on the look out for a used one for me.

He gave a very good estimate on what the partial repair and the full repair would be. He said that it was kind of on the borderline about whether it's gonna be worth it to fix it because we have a deck built around the hot tub and they would have to take the deck apart to look at the pump which also have been bad. So he didn't push us in either direction, he just let us know that it was at the edge or maybe a little past of it's expected life. So it led us to conclude that it would be more logical to save money and eventually get a new hot tub. It would be a thousand dollars and more into repairs on a hot tub that might not work anyway. He had an excellent communication. I paid for the evaluation travel or service fee and he was very straight about that upfront.

Taylor was professional and reliable. We contracted monthly services going forward.

Everything went very well. Taylor was very personable and hardworking. I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for the spa, drain, and fill on our hot tub. He was very meticulous and did a fantastic job cleaning an old and unused tub. We recently moved into a new home that had an existing 15 year old hot tub that had not been used in several years. Taylor spent several hours cleaning everything and checking all the functions, above and beyond what the coupon deal covered. He informed us that there were several things in need of replacement at a cost of around $3K. He advised us to replace the hot tub rather than repair it. We appreciated his honesty and advice. We will definitely use him again in the future when we replace the spa.

Taylor is fantastic. He returned our call quickly and fit us in within 4 days. I would definitely recommend him. Finally, the job cost less than he originally quoted.

It was a BIG DEAL special. I had to schedule the work about a month out because of demand, but that was no problem. They did a very good job, no hassles, no problems. Took about 3 hours.

Taylor was very responsive when I first called about leaks in the hot tub. He came out, checked for leaks, and gave me several options regarding the repairs needed to fix the problem. We decided to replace the hot spa heater rather than try to find the individual elements that might have to be replaced which would be just as costly as replacing the whole unit. Taylor was extremely helpful in letting me know the correct method of keeping the spa functioning efficiently and I was impressed with his enthusiasm and knowledge about hot spas. I would certainly recommend him to anyone looking for help in maintaining or repairing a pool or spa.

The technician/manager was prompt, efficient and effective. Very communicative and respectful. I will use this service in the future even without a coupon!

Taylor is amazing! He had been to my house in January to assess the viability of a spa that was here when I bought the house. He advised me at that time that the spa wasn't really worth repairing. Since he doesn't sell spas, I felt comfortable with his assessment. I did buy a spa several weeks later, and bought the Big Deal to have it serviced and balanced since I had some problems with balancing it myself. Taylor not only did an excellent job, he walked me through everything he did, as I will eventually want to maintain it myself since I'm on a fixed income. He gave me some good tips and tricks about what to use for balancing and the best way to test. I have scheduled Taylor for the next two months, and I hope to be comfortable with it myself after that. I can't say enough good things about this company, their professionalism, and their willingness to work with the customer!

I contacted Taylor who came promptly to give me an estimate on replacing the hot tub cover. There was a period of poor communication when I waited for a response but later found out he'd had surgery so definitely forgivable! Spa was filthy, had worms in it and is now clean and pristine. He didn't charge me to haul away the old cover because I had the Angie's List deal. Came back when the spa malfunctioned the second time I used it and identified the problem and fixed it. No complaints. Will continue to use.

Wow! I just can't say enough good things about Northwest Spa Maintenance! I called for an estimate on repair of a spa that was in place when I bought the house last summer. I was not - and am not - committed to having a spa, but thought I should at least see what it would cost to fix. I had just spent quite a bit of money bringing the electrical supply up to code, and didn't want that money to be wasted. Taylor had told me when I first called that there is a service fee, but that if he couldn't repair the spa, there would be no charge. He would also provide me with an estimate for repair if I wanted that done. Taylor looked over all of the components, advised me that it would cost about $2,000 to repair, but because of the age and condition, there was no real guarantee that it would work or would last very long. We discussed various brands of spas and he provided recommendations and suggestions. Taylor spent almost an hour with me and my son, and didn't charge one cent for the call! I am so impressed with this company's honesty and professionalism that, if I do replace the spa, I will definitely contract with them for maintenance. All companies should be this forthright with their customers!

My appointment was for Friday Jan 4. Taylor was to be there between 10 and 10:30 am. I totally forgot about the appointment and wasn't home. He called twice but I wasn't where I could hear my phone. Needless to say he had to rearrange his schedule. I felt horrible. After listening to my voice mail, I called and left him a message. He called me back. He was able to move his afternoon appointment up and was able to come that same afternoon to take care of my spa. Talk about customer service. He was so nice about my mistake. He got right to work. Not only did he clean the spa but the top and the stairs as well. Everything was perfectly done. What a great young man he is and I would have him back in a heartbeat. He also helped me move the big umbrella that we have for the spa.

Taylor did a spectacular job on our hot tub! He arrived on time, was very thorough with the cleaning and spent as much time as we needed teaching us how to maintain the chemical balance. He was so patient and very helpful! We would highly recommend his services!

Bought an Angies List Big Deal for Hot Tub maintenance package for $185.00. I arranged an appointment and Taylor showed up on time and performed all the serviced as advertised. He was very friendly, polite and professional. I also arranged to purchase a new cover for the hot tub and for twice-a-month maintenance. Very satisfied with whole process. UPDATE: February 12, 2013: Taylor never delivered the Spa Cover that I paid for (50% - of cost paid up front $200) and has not responded to phone calls or emails. Possibly out of business, but no contact from Taylor or NW Spa. SECOND UPDATE: February 14, 2013 - Taylor called me on 2/13 and apologized sincerely and professionally for his non-response. He had some medical issues and had no-one designated to follow-up with customers. He delivered and installed my spa cover. He is an "A" rated guy, but I couldn't give him "A" based on service failure. Would definitely recommend his service and will continue to use him to maintain my spa.

They didn't contact me even though I contacted me. They didn't come to help me.

Our hot tub had been sitting unused for a few years, and wouldn't fire up. After 2 seconds Taylor found and fixed the problem. He was very gracious, professional, and we would absolutely recommend him! Even though he refused to charge me for a service call, he checked all the settings, adjusted the chemicals, and walked me through the necessary routine maintenance. You absolutely can't go wrong with Northwest Spq Maintenance and Taylor!!

I needed to get my hot tub completely drained and cleaned and I found Northwest Spa and Maintenance through Angie's List and since they were offering a coupon for the service, I bought one. I called them and Taylor was very polite and we set up an appointment for him to come and do the service. He kept in touch, arrived on time and did an excellent job. I would have him back again in a heartbeat.

Taylor was exceptional. Called, emailed, and was right on time. He was very professional. He answered all my questions regarding the spa and helped me figure out if I needed more filters. I don't use my spa much but feel very comfortable in having Taylor for all my spa needs. As soon as he gets back from vacation, he is going to come over with a cartridge for one of my filters. Very impressed with him and his knowledge of hot tubs!
