"Jose's Lawn Service did an excellent job laying new sod, working on the sprinklers, trimming trees and bushes, bark dust and installing a new fence panel and gate. Guato was very professional, friendly and made sure everything was done really well. I plan on keeping them for maintenance and lawn care and the prices were very affordable. I would definitely recommend them to anyone."

"Aaron and his son were amazing! They got the job done in just 3 days! We had to have a completely new sewer line installed, about 100 feet from the house out to the street. ER Pipeline had the best priced bid out of 4 different plumbing services in Eugene that I got quotes from. They were much more affordable then any of the big name plumbing companies in town. Aaron and his son started the job within a week of providing me a bid. They dug the new trench in one day, laid the new pipe line the second day. The third day they had to have the city inspector come approve before backfilling the trench, Aaron took care of arranging the inspection and proper city permits. Once the inspector approved, they filled the trench by the end of the day. They did an excellent job in packing down the dirt after it was back filled, leaving a minimal amount of a hump in the yard. They also replaced all of the stone rock in an area of the yard. There was minimal concrete that needed to be replaced, only two sidewalk slabs. Aaron’s “concrete guy” came out and took care of the new sidewalk slabs. They were done perfectly! Better then they were before the work, before there was a lip in the sidewalk that neighbors have tripped on, and now there is no more lip! Overall, ER Pipeline Services did an amazing job and were extremely friendly. They even had their adorable “ditch dog” Marley who was on the work site every day watching over everything ;). I would highly recommend them if you’re looking at doing similar work."

Small jobs welcome

"Dustin and his team came recommended by my neighbor following some similar work that he had contracted with Redhawk. Our area presents complex drainage issues with difficult terrain which required that much of the project be completed without the use of equipment. Dustin and his team were friendly, punctual and professional throughout the project. I appreciated his willingness to discuss options and develop a comprehensive plan for our properties drainage. I am confident that his excellent work will resolve our issues permanently. I could not be more confident in recommending a company to my friends and family than I am with the experts at Redhawk Excavation. Thank you for all of your hard work."

Drain Pipe Installation questions, answered by experts

First, find the cleanout pipe in your yard. Unscrew the cap—you may need a wrench to do so. Then, get a drain snake. You can use a non-motorized one, but a motorized snake will make the job a little easier. Feed the snake through the pipe until it reaches the clog. Spin the snake continuously, but don’t try to feed it through the pipe anymore. Keep spinning until you feel it break the clog apart.

Pouring drain cleaner down a vent pipe isn’t recommended. First of all, unlike a clog in a sink or bath caused by such material as soap scum build-up, toothpaste, and hair, clogs in a vent pipe are likely the result of debris from trees or even an animal stuck in the pipe. Drain cleaners won’t be able to eat through this kind of material. The cleaner will only become clogged in the vent with the debris, causing even more problems.

Regardless of the drain cleaner type you choose to use, they all work through chemical reactions that create heat. Thanks to the heat, the clogged hair begins to dissolve until it is able to be flushed away. To avoid clogs in your drain due to hair, use hair catchers and empty them out after every shower.

There are several steps you can take to prevent your AC drain from clogging. This includes cleaning the drain line at least every three months, changing the filter every one to three months, and getting your AC serviced annually. Also, if any problems arise with your AC, hire an HVAC technician to deal with them ASAP.

Baking soda and vinegar is a great solution for cleaning your sink drain; in fact, it’s our preferred method. Here’s how to unclog your drain with baking soda and vinegar: Pour in a half cup of baking soda, then 1 cup of white vinegar, and let the two bubble for 15 minutes. Then rinse out with boiling water. This method is much safer than using a chemical drain cleaner gel.
