About us
Viking has been in business in Eugene Oregon since 1960; locally owned and operated. Our staff of 5 has more than 75 years of collective experience in our product lines. We sell and service all types of sewing machines, sergers, embroidery machines and vacuum cleaners. We carry parts for all brands of sewing machines and vacuum cleaners. We sell and service Softub brand spas/hotubs. We sell a wide variety of wood stoves, gas stoves, pellet stoves, fireplaces and accessories. We subcontract service and installation of our hearth products. We have several financing options available and also accept cash, checks and all major credit cards. We have sales and promotions throughout the year. We display twice per year (spring and fall) at the Lane County Home & Garden and Home Improvement Shows. We offer classes with the purchase of new sewing machines and also host a bi-monthly Viking Sewing Club.

"This stove was purchased & installed in 2007,our firm did not install the fireplace.The installation was done by an independent contractor & his poor work caused the problems.It wasn't until 2014 that we have record of complaint.We immediately set out to determine the problem.We were unable to determine what caused the odor however we were able to get a new replacement fireplace insert even though the warranty was long expired.The customer who wrote this review,on a phone conversation on 2-13-14 said he believed we offered him good customer service, despite the issues that arose.Ultimately the customer chose to have another independent contractor examine the fireplace.We did our best to address & correct this customers problems as we are committed to excellent customer service.We don't take this lightly & are disappointed to see this review."
