That didn't go quite so well, that's why I got this other company to do it. It was on the rental house next door. I used this program. So, they have certain things they had to do. Well, when Jerry came out, he said you know I can't pass this. They didn't do this; they didn't do that, and they didn't do this. It's something on every side of the house. It wasn't real big things, but I called and told them that they didn't pass it. He says that's not right we knew that it could pass. I said I could tell you it didn't pass. He says well, we'll come back out, but we're going to have to charge you if we come back out, but we'll give you a discount. You're going to give me a discount for not doing the job right? It would've took them another half an hour, but the equipment that I had probably took me four hours. When I told them that it didn't get passed, so I couldn't get paid. I actually got an email from Gerald telling me thank you for doing the work that they didn't do. The quality was alright, but they didn't do a complete job. They came when they were supposed to.

The arborist showed up on time, was very informative and actually evaluated our situation as needing nothing done. Considering the cost of removing even one of our many trees we felt were worrisome ($8000 each), this company showed integrity and honesty in assessing as 'healthy, dont need to remove any' without charging us for the visit or for unnecessary tree removals. We have LOTS of trees that we will ALWAYS call Sperry to prune, assess or remove. Really impressed by their friendliness and professionalism.

They were quick and efficient at their work. The whole crew was professional and very helpful. They cleaned up the yard well and I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing tree work done.

Sperry's performance was stellar, from the estimate to a followup thank you. These folks have customer service down pat. Chris the arborist listened to us carefully to document everything we needed. He promptly sent us a quote via email. The quote was very reasonable. The office folks were very friendly and the three person crew were absolutely fantastic. The arrived on-time and worked like beavers. Overall they get a A+.

Great communication, very knowledgeable and helpful, performed work well, cleaned up everything and left a nicely stacked pile of firewood. Since the winter ice storm, Sperry has been extremely helpful assessing damage to our trees and helping us make wise, safe decisions. They give great advice and are fair, punctual, and really know their stuff!

Sperry was the only service that actually responded to our request for an estimate by scheduling an appointment. (Another company decided to just stop by without an appointment and came when there was nobody home). They gave an estimate and, when we agreed to have the work done, came as scheduled and completed the work.

The crews that worked on our trees were fantastic. They were snowed on, had literal downpour rain and still never heard a grumble. I have used Sperry Tree Care several times over the past 10-15 years. They have always provided very professional service, so I called them again for this job. I booked them to do my work in the Fall of '16, but due to ice and snow storms they were unable to do the work until Feb. '16. Alby came by and did the estimate and gathered my instructions as to what I needed to have done. He came again on the day the work was done, arriving before the crew. He gave them specific instructions before they began work. The crew was very professional in their approach to the job and was very considerate of my property and my neighbor's property as they worked along the property line. All work was done exactly as I requested. There was a large quantity of debris, which the crew cleaned up completely. I highly recommend Sperry Tree Care and will use them again for future jobs.

It was, I think $450. I got three estimates and they were right in the middle. I don’t know how many guys were here, I want to say three or four. They were here for a few hours, I would say two or three hours. They were all outside, but they were good. They treated everything well, they cleaned up really well.

Very nice work. The laceleaf maple was a mess and now looks great and all the other trees pruned nicely for health and aesthetics. We also need 2 large Himalyan birches pruned, due to ice damage several years ago, but it was recommended we wait until winter to avoid possible insect infestation.

I've used another company for the past 30 years, but decided to try Sperry after reading about them on Angie's list. I loved the job they did for me and will use them from now on. They showed up right on time and had the job done and totally cleaned up in an amazingly short amount of time. The whole crew worked as a highly skilled team, and everyone was very upbeat and friendly. I strongly recommend this company

In mid-June 2016, Sperry Tree Care Company removed one of our three Birch trees nearly 40’ high. We had noticed that the Birch showed some bare limbs and was shedding excess amounts of seeds late summer/Fall. After contacting STC, their Arborist responded in a timely manner to assess the tree and he found that Boring Beetles had caused extensive damage. The Arborist demonstrated experience and knowledge of tree health, disease, and insects. Since the other 2 trees were not immediately involved, he recommended that only the affected one be removed. We went with his advice and are pleased that we still have two healthy trees. The crew removed the tree within 2 hours, shredded small branches and limbs, hauled off the wood, and cleaned the area thoroughly. We were very impressed with their expertise, teamwork and above all, they showed safety measures as a priority. We will contact Sperry Tree Care for any future needs and we highly recommend this company!

Amazing! The arborist was straight forward and honest. The professionals who removed the trees were quick but made sure not to hurt any of the other foliage in my yard. They were very nice to my dog as well.

The workers are personable and knowledgeable. They understood what we wanted and did it well. They cleaned up thoroughly afterward.

I had a birch tree in my back yard that was leaning more and more aggressively over my fence, across the sidewalk, and into the street. It was very out of place, and I was concerned with it either knocking my fence over or falling completely over into the street. So I contacted to Sperry Tree Care to remove it, as it was a bit too large (~30 feet) to do safely by myself. They came out to inspect the tree for free, scheduled an appointment for their crew to remove it, and came out to take it down in less than 2 hours. They cleaned up after themselves and hauled the remains away. It was quick and easy!

Throughout the process from obtaining bid to the final worksite clean up all done very professionally and efficiently. Helped us understand local municipal regulations on tree removal/pruning as some of the work done fell under them. All work done as specified in contract and we are very satisfied. I would recommend them to others.

I've used Sperry often in the past and I'm always pleased with their work. This time, they pruned, thinned, and shaped a large Atlans cedar which had outgrown its corner in my small yard. They were - as always - careful not to damage other plantings in my garden or my stucco wall. When they were finished, they asked me to come look and I suggested a bit more clipping and they were happy to oblige. Clean-up was thorough; they didn't leave anything. The tree looks much better.

They were punctual & very courteous. They did a great job & left my yard cleaner than when they got there. They also hauled away a huge pile of blackberry vines that I had trimmed. I would highly recommend them & definitely would use them again.
