They gave me tremendous service. On a scale of 1 to 10 I would give them an 11. They're great. Their prices are very reasonable. I've been to other places and their customer service and things just doesn't compare. They are very honest and on top of it. They have great customer service.

I have gone to Small World for years and find them friendly, efficient and caring. Marty and his staff, are a wealth of knowledge and work with customers to find the best results for the least cost. An example of this was; I once took my car to another facility and was told, very earnestly, that I need to change my transmission fluid or dire consequences would happy to my car and soon. Because, I have been a long term patron of Small World, I decided to take my car there for the repair. Marty and his staff looked into the situation and told my that not only did I not need to change the fluid, but ,in fact, it was still very clean.I would recommend Small World to any one and I plan to continue taking vehicle there.Jack

A week after the safety check and changing the lighter fuse I was stranded out of town due to the battery going dead and the lighter blew out and still didn't work (use it for cell phone charging). Took it back in and asked why the battery being bad wasn't picked up on the diagnostic or safety check- was told that it wouldn't necessarily show up then. Went with that -then asked about the fuse blowing and if it was electrical why that didn't show up on the diagnostic test- was told that a diagnostic test they gave dosen't pick that up. I asked repeatedly what the safety check did check and specifcally asked about brakes being included. Marty assured me it was. Fast forward 6 months and it turns out the rear brakes were so bad that it wore into the rotor which I had to have replaced. This car is a second vehicle and rarely used. Obviously the brakes had not been checked. Called Marty and tell him what happened and to request a refund for at least the $90 for the Diagnostic testing and inspecting and safety check performed that obviously did not occur for the brakes. Replacing the Rear Rotors cost $96 which I felt he should re-imburse since that was the damage caused by his not checking the brake pads . He said he would call back but did not. I called again and basically was told that the safety check was "free" so no reimbursement there and no reimbursement for the damaged rotor because I didn't bring it into him to work on (like I would trust him to do the work).

I brought car to Small World for a second opinion on repairs suggested by another shop. After leaving the car for the day, they provided me with their appraisal. They suggested repairs to be done at this time and others that they felt weren't warranted. They answered questions I had and explained their recommendations. They provided a written estimate of repairs. The work was finished on time and right at the estimated cost. When I picked up the car the mechanic who had done the work came out to answer any questions I had about the work he had done. One week later I returned with an issue with the car and they have gone the distance to make sure everything is working properly and encouraged me to contact them with any questions I have. While I waited in the waiting room, another customer asked how long I had been going to Small World. I said it was my first experience and they volunteered they had been coming for years and really felt comfortable having them work on their car.

I drive a 1999 Isuzu Trooper. We had only lived in Eugene for 6 months when the "check engine" light came on. I took it in to Small World and told them what had happened. They told me they'd have to run some tests on it to figure out what was wrong,at least $81 since that was the hourly rate for labor. They had it for 3 days because the code was something they hadn't seen, and they had to post to an auto mechanic's discussion board to get help. When they finally tried replacing the gas cap, it worked and I haven't had trouble in the 1.5 years since then! They said they worked on it for over 5 hours trying to figure out what was wrong, so I expected to have to fight to not pay all of that. Nothing to worry about! I was charged the minimum $81 and $11 for a gas cap. I've recommended it to friends and they have had even better experiences that I did.
