Rainscapes Sprinkler And Landscape Contractors

The irrigation system at my home has a cap in a shallow open hole which I remove in the fall to allow the system to drain. In the spring I replace the cap and the system is ready for summer. Installing the cap is a simple job - takes less than 15 minutes. If by mistake the system is turned on without installing the cap, a gusher results spraying a stream of water into the street.
We moved out-of-town in the spring so I was unable to do this work myself. Instead I engaged Rainscapes to reinstall the cap that I had removed the previous winter. I told them what to do and where the open pipe was. They charged me two hours labor to "locate, dig up, and cap line that was leaking into the street" and replace the adjacent sprinkler head. When I visited Springfield a few weeks later, I found the sprinkler zone containing the cap had been shut off at the control box so that area of the lawn was still getting no water.
I called the company to protest and was promised an answer but all I got was another bill.

jim from rainscapes has been servicing my irrigation system for years. i don't have any complaints about their pricing or service. they're very efficient, thorough and reasonably priced. they're completely knowledgeable in working w/the underground systems and the timing units, also very respectful of property and clean up any mess made.

We changed to this provider about 3 years ago after growing unhappy with the one we previously had. We have been very satisfied with their service. In the Spring Jim comes and turns on the water, checks all the sprinklers for damage and replaces those that need replacing. Anytime we have had an issue with broken sprinkler head, etc. he comes soon and takes care of it. We think they are reasonably priced and very responsible. We needed some additional sprinkler heads installed to compensate for overgrown landscaping and he did a great job with that too...raising some of the sprinklers up high enough for better coverage.

They were quite efficient. I feel the quality is fine and the controller is much easy to use. The technician who came to the house consulted us at each step and did the work smoothly. I have no complaints with the service. Their professionalism showed the knowledge of their field and the different alternative options we had.

Had service person come to turn on sprinkler system. Was working fine prior and I had been turning it on manually daily. Service person tried to reprogram timer and when he left it would not turn off. I tried for a few hours to get ahold of him with no response. Another service person came quickly when I got ahold of him and told me I needed repairs. That it was not the timer. Then he charged me for a second service call along with parts. He came back when I wasn't home.
