They have been quite good and they are very steady. They have been able to keep a 30 year old system running and I would highly recommend them.

They were great. Did not try to oversell us. Educated us and let us make decision on product to install.

The check was great, very reasonable spring special. HOWEVER, they said that my igniter was in need of replacement soon since it was showing burn marks. The service man told me the part was $220. He had it in his hand. I decided to wait to have it replaced. I went on line to the furnace mfg. and found the exact same part for $32. I do not mind a service company making a profit but a 687% markup seems excessive. I would NOT have them back for that reason. It not was as if he had to make another service call to install.

They take time to answer all our questions and explain everything they have done and what we can anticipate. I don't know how to grade them on price because we just don't have enough experience with repairs on our heating system and that's all we've used them for.

I have used this firm both in my commercial building and my residence for several years. Usually there has been no problem, at least none that I was aware of. After troubleshooting over the phone with a technician it was decided the unit needed to be checked, which they did promptly. They were professional and punctual. The problem occurred when I saw the bill. A total of $515.00 for something that took less than 20 minutes. The details of the charges were $75.00 for diagnostics (which we had done over the phone so I considered this the technician's fees) and $440 for the unit. It seemed awfully high so I looked up the unit online and found it retail for $145-195.00. They had it on their truck so I'm pretty sure they would be purchasing them at professional trade prices lower than that. When I asked why it was so expensive I was told it was because it came with a lifetime warranty and that of course they have to cover their overhead. The best they could do was to take 15% off and reduce the bill to $449.00. Because the bill was still so high, I decided it was prudent to compare the prices with other providers in town and contacted one a friend recommended to me. If the other provider did the same job it would have been $350 all inclusive so about $100 less than I paid. I also found out from a friend that a person can purchase this unit complete with detailed instructions and very safely do it themselves. I don't mind paying for professional services but as both a business owner and a homeowner, I need to be prudent with my expenditures and not pay a 300% - 400% markup on a thermostat.

Technician spent 1 hour and 40 minutes on replacing valve. I was charged $500 for labor. When I asked why I was charged so much he said it was because he had to go to the warehouse and pick up the part. Really overcharged by provider. Also, don't be fooled by the $50.00 consultation fee, which seems inexpensive. They get you them they actually have to repair something. Beware!!
