John is knowledgeable, thorough and patient. This is my 2nd time with NSI physical therapy and I have been pleased and impressed with them both times.

It was terrible. The doctors name was Scott H. Kitchel. I waited over an hour after my appointment time. The doctor saw me for no more than 5 minutes. He never reviewed the CT scan report with me or showed me the imaging. He gave me the wrong name of my condition. He handed me a 1 page flyer about a procedure which was not clear. He said my associate will explain this procedure and also do the procedure as well. Then he left and a girl named Maggie came in. She is a floater. She absolutely refused to make a consultation appointment with me and said that they would explain what they were going to do at the time of surgery. I told her that is not good enough, I need to know what this means in order to know if I want to have it done. About a week later, I got a letter from the doctor saying they won't treat me anymore. The administrator said that I had a right to know why but they wouldn't tell me why. I had an organization called Levanta call them because they help people who are on Medicare, and the administrator refused to return her call as well.

Dr. Halliday was very nice and professional and advised me to get a Cortisone shot before surgery, to see if that worked. It has been 3 weeks and I have never received a call about the shot. When I called, after 10 days, the person I talked to acted irritated that I had called and said they would call me when they had decided what to do. Dr. Halliday never told me that 90% of sciatic cases are self-resolved. My sciatica has improved enough that I will probably not get the shot.

Awful. I was given the same kind of injection I had told them had previously not worked and tried to confirm if what I was getting would deaden the inflamed nerve all the way to the daypack the service . All they would say is, do you want the treatment or not. This was after waiting 7 wks to get it. I lost critical medical leave time meanwhile. Even their local anesthetic didn't numb my pain and the injection did nothing. When I went back for a follow up they said there was nothing they could do to help and sent me back to the neurosurgeon. He sent me back to them again. Then I sought other care, in the form of decompression therapy, which has actually been effective without being invasive.

Dr. Christopher Noonan was able to repair and enhance the fusion of the lower spinal vertebrae very successfully. My wife is recovering ahead of schedule. We are more than satisfied with Dr. Noonan's services.

First I was thrown off by how she dressed to be in the office. She does not dress like a physician at all! Low cut top was inappropriate for sure. Then she proceeded to ask about my issues and then told me how bad the surgery was going to be,
a horrible recovery and very painful. Then she said we needed to move to another room and evidently wasn't able to walk us two doors down the hall, she had to have someone else come and escort us the 15 steps to the other room. She might be a good surgeon but I will not be back, she not someone I want operating on my brain. She was ready to schedule the surgery right away.
I have been to another surgeon in town and he is sending me to an opthalmologist/neurologist at OHSU. He does not want to operate unless he knows for sure that the Chiari is causing my vision issue. I really appreciate that he is willing to take the time to make sure before just cutting me open!

Had a ruptured disc in my lower back, a portion of which was shown in MRI to have separated and lodged against a nerve root. Caused a lot of leg pain. Dr. Miller performed out patient surgery to remove the lodged cartilage. Pain relief was immediate; recovery very quick. Then, in 2011, Dr. Miller was on duty when a CT scan I had following a fall showed subdural clotting. He operated the next day to clean up the condition. Follow-up monitoring included CT scans and MRI over three or four months; no further complications.

The appointment was awesome. I have had a previous surgery with Dr. Gallo. She is an amazing surgeon. She explains everything thoroughly and gives you all the pros and cons. She actually talked me out of the surgery and we worked out plan for a treatment that could avoid surgery. She is professional, knowledgeable and the best recommendation that I can give is that I trust her to operate on my spine! I would suggest her to any of my friends that needed spine treatment.

She's an excellent surgeon and she absolutely no bedside manner. She was not very courteous in answering my inquiries after the surgery. I didn't feel that she answered my questions. She said there were no complications and I was concerned there was a complication which turned out to be resolved but it extended his hospital stay. She was recommend by a number of people in the area. She wasn't always available, she usually has a surrogate.

Great experience would definitely use again. If your looking for a Dr. to feel sorry for you and hear your life story probably not best choice, but if you want a professional to do what needs done and do it well I would recommend her.

To date, I am pleased with the outcome.  Pleasantly surprised that I have no pain.  The whole process will take a year of healing.

She is absolutely incredible. I can't say enough good things about her. Her communication is awesome and she tell it as it is. I went into surgery with a "We don't know if you'll walk". I'm 17 weeks out of surgery and I'm not using a cane or a walker. It's a professional office with professional help. She has a real presence about her. She is incredible. I would use her again in a minute should the need come up. I felt like she could perform miracles.

Dr Gallo did a fusion to eliminate the leg pain. After 3 months, the pain is gone and I can resume all physical activities including golf. Without Dr Gallo's help, I would not be able to walk as far as a block. When I was thinking about having back surgery, I read other peoples experiences. Some were very scary, but the alternatives were not to be able to walk. Each situation is different, however Dr Gallo performed a difficult surgery that turned out perfectly for me. Dr Gallo if you are reading this report, thank you for the miracle
