We received 3 movers and 1 truck. The job took 9 hours and twice additional help had to be called in.
I believe if we received the man power quoted it would have only taken the 6 hours because they would not have had to do 2 trips. But those 3 movers did a great job. Unfortunately, our master bed became damaged in the move and Lile did not resolve it to our satisfaction. We had a very reasonable quote of $100 to fix it...they sent us a check for $21.00. We felt this was not fair and reasonable so we wrote them again. They reopened the case and offered us another $29.00. We have accepted neither as we feel the $100 quote from the repairman (and driving it to Cottage Grove to be repaired) was more than fair.
"Dear [member name removed], Thank you so much for your positive review of Lile! We are thrilled to have had the opportunity to serve you and we hope to be your mover for life! We hope things are going well in your new location and wish you all the best. Sincerely, The Team at Lile"
"Dear [member name removed], We sincerely apologize for any suggestion of impropriety on the part of our staff during your recent move. It is our goal to ensure that our customers have a seamless move whether they are moving across town or across the country. We have a zero tolerance policy when it comes to theft of any kind and this behavior would be grounds for immediate dismissal. At Lile, we pride ourselves on hiring highly trained, respectable staff members, all of whom pass not only background checks, but drug tests as well. After you called us to inform us of the $100 that went missing on the day of your move, we spoke with all of the members of our staff who were at your residence that day. After speaking with you, we understood that you did not want to file a police report, however, if you have changed your mind and still feel that there has been an issue with one of our employees, we would gladly assist you in the process of filing a report and we will willingly comply with any requests made of us. Your patronage is truly valued and we appreciate the opportunity to serve you."

"We sincerely apologize for any frustration experienced by the customer as a result of her recent move. It is Lile’s goal to ensure that all our customers have a seamless move. We aim to keep the customer fully informed through constant communication and openness. When booking interstate shipments, such as the customer’s, we are affiliated with North American Van Lines, as the interstate hauler, and must work with their drivers and dispatch when determining a delivery time. This is then relayed to the customer prior to their goods being picked up. In the customer’s case she signed an estimate, dated 8/22/11, and an order for service, dated 9/12/11 three days prior to load on 9/15/11. Both signed documents show an agreed to delivery spread with possible delivery on 10/1/11. Included on the estimate Ms. Cassin signed a statement acknowledging her receipt of the “Your Rights and Responsibilities When You Move" booklet, required by Federal Law to be provided to all shippers, which states “it is your responsibility to be available to accept delivery on the dates specified. If you are not available and are not willing to accept delivery your mover has the right to place the shipment in storage at your expense.” The North American driver advised Lile that he needed to make the delivery on 10/1/11, which was within the agreed to delivery spread. The customer was contacted by Lile’s Branch Manager with information regarding the actual delivery date on 9/28/11 via phone and confirmed that day via email and again via email on 9/30/11. She worked with Lile’s Branch Manager and arranged for her goods to be delivered into storage as she was unable to accept delivery on 10/1/11.. He assisted her with arranging the storage and, in addition to providing a couple of options for destination storage, advised her on all related charges and what to expect regarding final delivery of her shipment. We regret the hassle she experienced by having her goods placed in temporary storage, however, this was not a result of a “disconnect” or miscommunication on Lile’s part but rather the result of the shipper not being available to receive delivery of the goods within the agreed to delivery time frame. As always we appreciate hearing from our customers as a means to better service their needs. Best Regards, Chris Linn Lile Customer Support"
