Ken was a pleasure to work with during our 6-month renovation. Although we generally knew what we wanted, we were absolute beginners at this sort of thing. He handled each problem with humor and never took advantage of our inexperience. He was diligent and punctual, often working on weekends and holidays! At each step, he conferred with us so that we all knew  what was happening and agreed on it. He persevered to hammer out solutions to sometimes tricky and unusual situations. We appreciated his can-do attitude and reluctance to impose his opinion unless asked. He knew where to find other experts (such as for plastering, plumbing, wiring) to help, if necessary. It felt like a true collaboration. We were thrilled with the end result, and should we have similar project, would certainly call Ken first, and recommend him without hesitation.
