Jesse Gonzalez

On a previous job, Jesse had installed kitchen cabinets (by Mike Green), wood flooring, and stone tile in the kitchen. He scouted out materials and then went with me to choose tile. He had recommendations based on his previous experience. For this job, I knew I needed to remove a woodstove insert as it was not up to code. Jesse and I talked about what I might do with that area of the family room, and he came up with a plan for cabinets to be built by Mike Green. Jesse dealt with Mike, a great cabinet maker, contacted a plaster guy for a wall that needed to be refinished, contacted an electrician for additional outlets, picked up all the other supplies for the interior doors and trim, painted teh doors and trim, ordered the windows, took refuse to the dump and recycling center, matched the exterior paint, and always cleaned up when he was done. I needed to be out of town for several days and felt totally comfortable leaving Jesse to work while I was gone. Jesse was really good at keeping me informed on his progress and explaining details of the job. He is so easy to work with, honest, and professional. He pays attention to detail and has a high standard for himself. I am planning to have Jesse work on future projects, both large and small, for me as well.
