We hired Highland Tree to remove two very large trees growing next to the house. These trees were over 100ft tall and within a few feet of the front door. The crew showed up on time, maneuvered a large crane into position (we're on a hillside) and in a little more than a half day had removed the trees and cleaned up to the point that the only way you could tell that they had been there was that the trees were no longer there. Very professional job by an experienced crew that new what they were doing! Highly recommend Highland Tree Service!

Ben, the owner, came by and provided me an estimate of the price to remove the tree down to the stump. I had two other tree service people come by and provide me an estimate. bens estimate was the lowest priced bid I received. Ben explained to me that is it was not a large job and how he would do it. From my observation, Ben is a very experienced tree guy. His explanation was very similar to the other two bids I received. Ben quickly returned my calls and he called me the evening before he was to arrive to do the tree. Bottom line is that Ben was a very good communicator and followed up as he said he would. Been arrived at 8:30 in the morning with two other helpers and had the tree completely removed within one hour and 15 minutes. The cleanup was excellent as I had shared with Ben that my neighbor takes very meticulous care of his yard so I asked Ben to ensure the cleanup was very thorough and it was! I would highly recommend Highland tree service.

I spoke with the owner of the company several times about my concerns with the work he would be doing on the trees. The work required that he be on my property while pruning the trees. He assured me " that I would be pleasantly surprised with the outcome and that the pruning would be done to maintain privacy, shade, and noise barrier". Instead, he completely butchered everything and left us completely exposed to our neighbors tool shed, power box, sundry junk, etc.
We are horrified! I would never believe a word this man says again.

They were prompt, and they removed the tree without damaging anything. They are very careful, and courteous. They cut the tree to grade, and took everything away.

Very professional and courteous.  Our yard looks wonderful and we will use Highland Tree Service again.  Our neighbor asked who did our work and plans to have their trees trimmed by Highland.  I highly recommend this company.

Because of significant storm damage throughout Eugene, there was a 2 week wait time to get the job done.

Ben arrived punctually and completed the work within a couple of hours.

Ben and his two crew did a great job of opening up the trees to allow in more light and in tree removal.  (Last year he removed big cherry tree that was diseased and did great job then, too.)  Clean-up afterwards was excellent - couldn't even tell they'd been here.

Called Ben at Highland Tree Service for an estimate.  He was prompt to come out and bid the work.  He was was very curteous. Work was finished on time and cleaned up.
