The engine light would come on intermittently and my Subaru often died at intersections. Gary fixed the problem and performed a routine service, replacing old and leaky parts. The cost came in under estimate. Gary did not charge for a few items he found but did not tell me about in advance. I recommend Gary highly.

They did a good job as far as I can see. The vehicle is running great. I would go back to them for future service. They were professional and very punctual: they had it done exactly when they told me they would have it done. It was a good experience.

They overhauled car, called me to say needed new brake pads as riding on rim was causing noise. metal on metal. they checked everything out, answered m questions , for example, I had baeen told by another outfit that my tires were mismatched and I needed new ones all around: they assured me tires were just fine and needed no change. very pleased with service; will use them again on regular basis.

Fabulous. You might wonder why I'd spend so much on an old car. The answer is Gary. First on the suggestion of a co-worker, I went to Gary with my 200,000plus mile Subaru. I wanted to know if it was worth fixing up. For the first time I faced spending money on it. He was able to diagnose a noise in the wheel bearing that two other mechanics couldn't identify. He then gave me an estimate of what it would take to make the car last another 100,000 miles (hopefully) and helped me decide if it was worth spending money on the car. I chose to do everything he suggested. After the work was done, in his final test drive, he was able to hear that the brand new wheel bearings were bad and he kept the car a bit longer to remedy this situation. I am glad to have someone I can trust and who is completely knowledgeable about Subarus. The only drawbacks are that the the location is way out on W 11th and that he plans to retire in 2015.
