Johnathan and his team are exceptional. They have taken care of our tree service for 15 years. This summer when we purchased a new home, we had Johnathan come out to remove limbs that might be dangerous should a big storm occur. We just had a huge snowstorm last week in Eugene, and thanks to the work we had done this summer, we did not sustain any property damage due to downed tree limbs. We had 5 large tree limbs that were damaged in the storm, and Johnathan and his team put us right on their service list when we contacted them and just removed the largest branch that was extended over a walking path that many people use to get to Hendricks Park. We also love that Jonathan is an arborist. He always treats us with respect, concern and is very professional.

We are very pleased with the results, although we were not sure when they were in the process of taking the trees down. After the trees were gone, we knew it was the right decision. Jonathan worked hard to please us and make sure that we were happy with their work. We had very little plant damage, he worked hard to protect our plants and even removed 3 Rhododendrons and then replanted them after they were done working in that area. We knew that there could be some damage due to the proximity of the trees and the plants. He also spread some bark and left the area very clean and tidy.
While they were working on the trees, we decided to remove a row of arborvitaes, he immediately removed them and did not charge us additional. 
We choose his company because he came so highly recommended by several of our friends and associates. We too will recommend him and his crew to anyone looking for quality work. We have already called him back to do some pruning on a couple more trees.

They contacted us as to when they would show up and they were here when they said they would be. They cut down the damaged limbs, chips up all those limbs, and then cleaned up everything quite nicely. When they were ready to come out to take down the rest of the tree, they again called to see if that time worked for us. They were here at that time. We requested that they save us the larger pieces of wood for the wood stove and just chip up the smaller branches and brush. That was no problem for Mr. Bakke and his crew. The job was done efficiently and cleaned up spotlessly. We have used them in the past and will use this company again in the future.

These men worked with enthusiasm as a team. They went out of there way to make an awful looking back yard into a place of possibility. They worked so hard and with a fine, polite attitude. They went that extra mile and were very professional. Earlier they had trimmed back our Asian Pear Tree and I would use them again and again. They are masters at their work. I cannot give higher praise.

Bakke Tree Sevice owner, Jonathan Bakke, came to my residence on time as appointed to give me an estimate to remove a tree and grind the stump and roots . He gave me a competative price and even agreed to match a previous estimate. His crew came at the appointed time and cut the tree down, removed it from the yard in a short time, and thoroughly cleaned the area. They were very careful to pervent any damage to my fence or my neighbor's yard. Due to the wet ground they decided to return at a later date to grind the stump and roots. They did return as promised. Several days after they had finished, I noticed that there were some roots from the tree just below the ground surface which would interfere with planting shrubs or flowers. I called Mr. Bakke and he sent his crew to my house a few days later to remove the remaining roots. They did an excellent job and did more than expected at no additonal charge. I am very pleased with their work and would use Bakke Tree Care again.

I have contracted Jonathan and his crew twice now: first in March after the snow brought down some trees, and this summer for clearing some poor health trees. He is very professional, punctual, and clear in his communication. He provides good input on options and focused on the poor health/at-risk trees and explained which were in good health.
His time arrived promptly and took care of the work faster than expected. His prices are competitive and he clearly has a great deal of experience in tree service. Both interactions with him and his team were excellent.
I will call Bakke the next time I need any tree work done.

The owner of the business, John Bakke, and his crew were wonderful. They did exactly what I wanted and Mr. Bakke's promise that he would be paid only if everything were perfect was true. He is honest and hard-working, eager to please, the work was done very quickly and professionally, and I recommend the company without reservation. An A+ in every category.

Jonathan Bakke, owner of Expert Tree Service, came out promptly to go over the job with us and gave us an estimate of cost (We obtained an estimate for exactly the same work from another company and they came in substantially higher). Three of his associates performed the work promptly, efficiently and neatly over the span of 1 full day plus 2 hours the next morning. .

Without a hitch. He quickly identified dead and almost dead branches throughout the canopy and discussed whether I wanted to save any marginal ones. The branches came down without damage to anything in the yard. I had decided to cut them up myself to save money, but he shortened some of the bigger ones anyway.

The work went very well. Thorough, but quick work, including proper clean up. As some limbs were taken off, other issues were spotted and our original "plan" was adjusted accordingly. No change in the original bid for the job. He is a little expensive, but they do know what they are doing with selective pruning, etc. We received a follow up thank you letter, which doesn't happen very often in this day and age!
