I signed contract in June 2017 and was told job would be done in February 2018. I was willing to wait that long because they had such a good report on Angie’s List and with acquaintances I talked to. The roof was done in February. Communication was a weak link but the work done here was good. I have rated them so low because not all of the contracted work has been done. I called three times in February about the gutter replacement (which I know was just a tiny part of the whole job) and never received a call back regarding scheduling that part of the job. On the first call I was told that a different department did that work, not the roofers that had completed their job. I was transferred to a voice mail box and left a msg. I repeated that twice more. It is now coming upon the end of April and I still have a damaged section of gutter needing replacement. I am so disappointed in my experience. I really expected from my research that I could trust that the WHOLE job would be done in February. I will note that I was not charged for that portion of the work.

It looked to me that it will take care of the problem.

Hired their service for a pre-purchase home roofing inspection, paid extra for an inspection of the detached garage. What I got was a bid for replacing the roofing on the garage. Notes were made about the house roofing but appeared like they eye-balled it from the ground. Our general inspector made notes about gutter debris, moss, flashing issues and there is a rotten fascia board. None of which was mentioned in Evergreen's "inspection." I called their office and asked to speak with the inspector and was told he was in the field and they would call back. No one did. Called again, transferred to the inspectors phone and left a voicemail asking for a call back and still no one returned my call. Very poor job and even worse customer service.

Their crew was easy to deal with and did good work. They were honest and stuck to timelines. It they had good processes for quality control and follow up. Would definitely hire again.

The experience was very good. Large crew arrived for a single-day tear-off of old roof. They cleaned up very well. Job was finished 2 days later except for a few touch-ups. They were very accommodating about coming back for the touch-ups.

Different. They had left me a message to call and set up a date. When I returned the call their mailbox was full so I couldn't find out anything. The crew showed up a few days later with no warning. Fortunately I arrived home right after they got there. They found the problem and fixed it quickly. Then left without saying a word. Everything turned out OK but it could have had a very different ending.

When installing the gutters, they noticed that the metal had blemishes throughout. They said they could not install a damaged material and came back the next day and finished the work. I really think I would not have noticed the problem, but they did and made sure the job was done perfectly. Work was efficient, workers cleaned up after themselves. If I had questions, they were promptly addressed to my satisfaction. They did a really nice job!

They were very quick to come out and give an estimate. But it took multiple calls and messages to actually get them to schedule a date to come out and do the work. It was really frustrating. When they come out they did a good job and cleaned up after themselves well. However, they missed some of the areas where there was damage and so the roof still leaked (albeit less so) when they were done. I had to call in a different roofer to find and fix the areas they missed. I would hire them again, but they would not be the first ones I called.

Removed older shingles and re-roofed. Replaced gutter guards and cleaned up after installation.

Crew arrived with no heads up or phone call they were coming. I understand it's a roof and I don't need to be there but a courtesy call would have been appreciated since an appointment date wasn't given. I had another work crew at the house at the time so it was difficult to observe what was going on between the two crews. The safety hooks appear OK and the roof was cleaned/treated. The issue with this review is specifically the gutter cleaning. They used a blower to clean the gutter but that only cleaned out the loose debris. It didn't do a good job of clearing out the debris that was wet (it was raining at the time) or anything that was caked up in the gutter. Pine needles and other tree related sludge tends to get caked up and stuck in the gutter like glue when they are wet and then dry out. It doesn't blow out easily. What was needed was someone to reach into the gutter and pull out the debris that wasn't blowing out. Based on the amount of debris still in my gutter, they clearly didn't do that. They also left 15-20 long nails in the gutter that were not there before. If this was a 1st story house I would have done the job myself but I hired Evergreen specifically because of the height of the roof. For the price I paid, I expected a clean gutter. The gutter was cleaner but as I look out my second story window at the gutter, there is still a noticeable amount of debris which is the reason for this review. I will not be using this company for a gutter cleaning again.

First contact came out to fix a roof leaking water into home, on an emergency visit, where I could not get other companies to come out such as River Roofing, a large company,  who I had actually paid to come out and done inspection on roof only a year before when buy home and confirmed no problems to consider. Since they could not find record of installed this roof, they would not come out.
Since they made such an excellent impression on me per professionalism and quality, we wanted them to replace roof subsequently. Andy was manager, who was very attentive before, during and after job. If questions come up, they always get back within 24 hrs if have non-urgent questions.
Our home had concrete roof without underlayment or plywood, with additional work shed building not attached to home. While we wanted to go with Evergreen, based on their service when we had emergency water leak, I did check prices and they were competitive. I went with Evergreen because they established our trust when come out for emergency leak. Now, if I hear anyone may need roof care, I volunteer recommendation for Evergreen because I was that  impressed with them, and roofing is such an important issue, that anyone who has had a stream of water entering their home off their roof drainage would appreciate as we did. When very heavy rain storms, many people will need help at same time. It helps to to have a company that is available for emergencies, and their is priority with all companies I called, to help first homes they have serviced before

The Evergreen crew was prompt and professional. The work completed was exactly what was agreed upon. It's hard to fault this crew. They were experienced, well-orchestrated, and respectful of our yard and space.
