Very happy with their work. It turned out well. Work was done quickly, and they cleaned up after the work was done.

Robert (owner of Eugene Plastering) is our go-to guy for interior plaster work: his prices are fair, he is prompt, and he is a pleasant guy - not to mention his work is top notch! Eugene Plastering worked its magic on our home when we remodeled in 2007-2009, and recently helped us out last minute by texturing a sloped ceiling when it was time to get our house ready for sale. He has applied veneer plaster on virtually all our walls as we remodeled our home, and applied "knock down" plaster finish on new ceilings to match the existing ceilings. Robert is a true professional and artist. My only disappointment is that we are moving from the area and will not be able to use him at our new location.

Showed up right on time. I also had a couple of holes that needed patching - one was where a wall heater in the bathroom used to be and another around where plumbers cut to replace washing machine supply valves. He only charged me an extra $50 for the patches and I was really surprised at the great quality of the patches, especially around the valves. All in all, really pleased with the work.

It was amazing. Robert and his crew were on time, completely professional and did fabulous work. We had tried for months to get a plasterer even to answer our phone calls and then come out to bid a small project, but Robert said he would come, kept his word and did wonderful work.

Robert came out and did my initial bid and based our meeting I decided he was going to be a good person to hire. He provided me a reasonable bid for the work that I wanted done and gave me some professional perspective which helped the project looked great in the end. The day of the job he showed up right on time at 730 in the morning with a crew of two other people. They were all extremely professional and worked to knock out the entire job by midday. I thought the price charged for the services was quite reasonable and I thought that the quality of the services was exceptional. I will most definitely be hiring them next time I need plasterwork done at my home, and feel good recommending them to both clients and friends.

Robert was great! He came to finish our job only four days after bidding. He really listened to what we wanted. He was on time, professional, and done in under two hours. The new work tied in very well with the existing ceiling. He was careful with our bedroom wood floors and our all new bathroom. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - we would definitely use him again.

Robert and his crew did a great job with making the walls/ceilings all come together and blend in with the original texture. I would definitely hire them again!

Contractor/assistant arrived on-site on-time and ready to work.  They taped off floor areas to protect them, set up scaffolding, and began projects in two rooms.  They worked until the project was complete and then removed all their equipment and cleaned up.  I was pleased because they did everything they agreed to do in a professional manner for what I felt was a reasonable price.

Excellent.  Fast, professional, superior results.  Just be sure you keep Robert up to date on the timing of your project so he can have his crew on site at the best possible time.

They were very fast at their work. I was extremely impressed by the quality - including matching the texture of older (1960s) ceilings and walls. Robert went above and beyond the call of duty, fixing a few additional cracks that were not part of the original bid at no additional charge. Everything looks great. I wish I'd had this done years ago!

...Eugene Plastering ... We got their name from Angie's List and are very happy with the work they did.

We have a room over the garage that was finished and has become our exercise room.

The contractor we hired to do the finish/plaster work had hired journeymen to put the 8 x 12 foot sheetrock up.  Each 8 x 12 foot piece of sheetrock was cut into three 4 x 4 foot pieces ...

Seams cracking have been a problem since completion ... we have had cracks repaired on three different occasions and not only did it look patched, but cracked again within a few months.

To see the room now is to see it as it should have been from the beginning.  Not only was Eugene Plastering able to retape/repair the cracks; but, the plaster pattern now matches the rest of the plaster in our home.

Beautiful job ... Eugene Plastering ... Thank you.

An amazing A+ job for an extremely good price. Highest recommendation for Robert and his company.

Details: My wife and I live in Eugene and are building a new home in Sunriver, Oregon. Almost no one does plaster in Central Oregon and our builder couldn't find a reasonably priced plaster company to our house. The plain old "drywall" quote was $19,000 and didn't include 5/8" "rock", except on the ceilings.

Eugene is known as the "plaster Mecca of the Northwest," and there are several companies that do excellent plastering. I interviewed and got quotes from three of them. Robert had the highest "score" and best price of all.

We were not disappointed! Robert personally managed our project, and he did the hand finishing. I can't speak highly enough of our experience. Robert was always punctual, responsive, very hard-working on the job and meticulous in the details.

His crew that hung the "rock" were unlike any drywall crew we've experienced. They started early, worked late and were hard at it for the entire day. The cuts and joints were very precise, and they left our construction cleaner than when they arrived.

The entire project required only five weekdays, whereas the drywall subs wanted 3 or 4 weeks.

As mentioned above, the cost was roughly the same as drywall would have been, even though the project required travel to Sunriver.

From our research, we know that Robert and his company have a great reputation. Our project was a large, demanding one that proved he can handle big jobs as well as small ones.

Our interior looks awesome with real plaster!

He sheetrocked taped and textured a large room 320sq/ft in two days.  The room was partially already taped and textured but the previous contractor did such a poor job it was completely unacceptable (it was a friend, I let it go).  After Robert was done there's no way you could tell there was ever an issue.  Incredible speed, the job was done perfectly, price was fair and he came when he said he would.  The hardest thing about Robert is making it onto his schedule.  He does fantastic work at a great price if he can fit you in!

I called Eugene Plastering and Robert Turasevich came out the next day.  He did a perfect job of patching the two holes in my garage wall.  I Pulled two far foreward and pushed my bicycle peddles into the dry wall.

I worked with Robert to set up the work.  Because it was a pretty small job, he quoted me over the phone.  We didn't schedule a specific time; I had the day off and was working outside on a new deck, and just told him to show up sometime before the end of the day.  The work they did was excellent.  They put up plastic so that when they blow the texture it doesn't end up on furniture or anywhere else it doesn't belong.  They also ran paper through the house so that they didn't track anything through the house.  I thought their prep work was outstanding and I am very happy with the end result.  I'd definitely hire them again!

He was very communicative, keeping me informed of his schedule and his availability for the work. He arrived on time to meet me to look over the job and give me an estimate. He also arrived right on schedule to start the work. For the estimate he said he could patch the damaged area, but would not be able to duplicate the existing "knockdown" texture precisely. He advised me that for a ceiling, even a slight variation in texture would be noticeable. For only about $200 more, he could do the entire ceiling, eliminating any sign of a patch. I opted for the complete ceiling re-do. He and his assistant completed the entire job in an afternoon. They were careful to protect the walls and floors and did an excellent job plastering the ceiling. While there, he even repaired a few minor cracks I pointed out in the walls (no additional charge beyond his original estimate).
