I use Comcast.  I use them currently.  Sometimes when I have to call it is difficult to understand the technician.  So far when they make an appointment they are very punctual, right on time.  When I make an appointment they are very professional and they're on time and they know what they're doing.  I have had them for quite some time.

Raised price for internet over $30. After 40 minutes on the phone and threatening to cancel they agreed to just an $8 increase but cut our speed way down. They said we probably wouldn't notice but its pretty slow now. So now we have more for less? Very poor business ethics here and we are now shopping for an alternative.

They're terrible. They have never, on all of the times I've called them and changed my service either to eliminate something or add something, been able to tell me what my bill will be. They are notorious for problems and not being able to tell you how much. When you finally get the bill, the first month, it's always more. You're not really too sure from talking to their salespeople what they promised you. It's sort of vague. The bill is always more than what you thought it was going to be. I'm planning to cut the cord. When you get a service with Comcast, I think the minimum number of channels is like 200 or something and it goes up close to 300 if you get premium service. 95% of those channels, nobody ever watches. My outgoing mail server has not worked for a month and a half. I have talked with probably 15 agents on the phone. They also sent out a technician to look at it. Nobody has ever been able to fix it. It isn't just me. Everybody I talk to in the community here or I talk to in the Bay area - my daughters or whoever, has terrible experiences with them. Initially, 10 years ago, it seemed reasonable at that time. Over the years, because they kept asking me if I wanted more premium services, I finally got the full package and it was over $300 a month. That same deal, excluding a few things, is now costing me $134 a month. The reason is because they realized that they were going to go out of business if they didn't change their prices. People were dropping them like crazy and going to streaming. So, now, it's relatively reasonable. But, when I tell people that have other services like DirecTV or Dish or things like that, they say, "For what you're getting that's outrageous." They pretty much control cable out here. In fact, if you can't get DirecTV or Dish because of hills and mountains blocking the signal, you're stuck with them. For a long time, we haven't had a choice. When they decide to implement some kind of a new program involving customers and when they decide to have different screens used on the TV then they were using before, they sit in a boardroom and talk to themselves and then they hire some company that they talk to, that's going to do the work, setting it up. But, they never talk to the people who are using the system.

Service is good. Given the size of the organization they do OK. Have found that the pricing depends on how much you contact them and ask for better prices. If you just ignore them the amount keeps creeping up. I really only need internet but they structure it so that the "Package" is a better deal. Always feels like I've been manipulated but there's really nothing better available.

We went into the office prepared to do battle, but the young lady who served us was very pleasant and offered us 1 year of free phone with no questions asked other than "why". No arguments. It was a very different experience from what we were anticipating!

They have a terrible customer service at Comcast. The quality of the product seems okay, it is competitive, customer service was abysmal. If there was a one local man who is a specialist for some problems it has been wonderful working with him. He has been great. We have had internet problems and email problems and it taken us over a month and probably twice to resolve it. They are so reluctant to elevate your case to higher level so he end up talking with bunch of people I know as much about as they do. They are charging too much. I don't have much choice except to use them.

1. The people are excellent. On time and always willing to answer questions. Can not say enough about them.

2. The company is the worst at delivering. Making promises about what your bill will be and what you get. Never works out. They have a worse image than the phone company. The problem is that even though the competitors claim to be as fast, they are not. So they are the only ones in town who can get good internet speed

Scheduled on 5/9  first installer told me for the Internet, he would have to run cable either across the floor, or up the wall around doorway.  Had him run around door cause I didn't want to be tripping over cable.  Huge fat cable that looked horrible.  Have 2 tvs and one wasn't  working right. 2nd tek comes on 5/15, changes out all the cable, drilling a hole through the floor like it should have been done in first place...now I have big holes in wall around doorway, but don't have to look at ugly cable.  First guy did not want to go under house cause he was afraid of spiders.  One tv still not working right...have a 3rd tek come on 5/21. Was charged for that.  TV still not working correctly when I had DIRECTV reinstall. Remote, guides, and menus NOT user friendly Unlike Comcast they do not charge for installation.  Long story why I switched in the first place.  My picture is AMAZING...I can record 5 shows at one time, and watch in either room, and can now watch my Giants baseball.  ComCast has 30 day money back guarantee...went in on 6/13 to return equipment, and they wouldn't honor it because the first scheduling date was 5/9 even though it wasn't even working on one TV until 5/21.  Was excited to have the PAC12, but when I wanted to watch Ducks women's softball, not only was it not easy to find, some of the games were on a subscription channel.

Comcast's prices keep climbing at rates that are too high.  We get this provider because they carry basketball games from Portland and have the "lock" on those games.
We can watch TV on the internet and order special things from Netflicks and Amazon.  Not as handy but not as outrageous price wise.  I think the service, as far responsiveness, punctuality, and professionalism is quite good.  The price is much, much too high. I  hope to cut the "leash" as soon as other options become available.  I know people who only have internet service and use their computers.  I can get TV from the internet.  This action is becoming more and more common.
Comcast is close to being a monopoly.  When social security goes up less than 2% a year, Comcast would do well to follow suit.  New customers always get the best deals.

Comcast provides communications services (cable, internet, etc.).  The service is awful.  I was kept on hold for MORE THAN THREE HOURS occasionally talking with representatives located in Colorado, Seattle, the Philippines, and St. Louis - but most of the time on hold listening to "music". During this incident I was told untruths.  Last night the Cable TV service failed for the evening - back to reading a book.

I have always had good experiences. I like that they are reliable. I don’t have any complaints about it. Sometimes I complain about how much it costs, but when I compare it with other ones, it's pretty close for the service I get. If I want what I am getting, I am going to have to pay for it. I think the pricing is a little high, and the quality of their work is excellent.
