I called Mr. Gardner and explained the situation. He said he would have no problem drilling through the tile. He quoted me a price of between $100-$120. I had already received an estimate from another installer for $300. Mr. Gardner and I made an appointment for Monday, Nov. 12, at 10 AM.
Mr. Gardner arrived on time and installed the microwave without a problem. He charged only $95.
It was a pleasure to watch him work. There was no time wasted and he was obviously extremely knowledgeable about installing over-the-range microwaves. In brief, it was a pleasure to watch a real pro work.
Mr. Gardner installs all manner of kitchen appliances We plan to purchase a dishwasher to replace our old one in the near future. I intend to call him to install it.
