Avoid Cascade Garden Equipment at all costs. I brought my power washer to Cascade Garden Equipment since gas was leaking out the carburetor and was told by two employees, one of which wrote up my order, that it was likely a stuck float. I left it and not long after I got home I had a phone call that they replaced the carb and to come pick it up. The cost of repair was $139.00. After getting it home it started but was belching blue smoke and barely running before quitting altogether. I brought it back and two days later I get a call telling me the cam was broken and it would cost more to repair than to buy a new machine. Then I was told I was fortunate they wouldn’t charge me for their evaluation, not a hint of their own failed diagnosis. Trust me, I am totally comfortable in going down and getting in their face for the terrible customer service and thievery, but it wasn’t worth my time. Shame on them. There’s many small engine repair shops all over Eugene, don’t blow your time on money on Cascade Garden Equipment.

Horrific customer service and service I COULD HAVE BEEN SERIOUSLY INJURED OR DEATH DUE TO THERE NEGLECT! I called due to a problem with a repair TO MY LAWN MOVER from a year ago I used the lawn mover one time before we ended up moving. I went to use the lawn mover for the first since the move about a month ago. The mover started sparking and it turned out a bolt was not tightened and there was $160 in damage. I had another company pick up the lawn mower to ***** what was wrong with it. When I was told the problem I called the Cascade and informed them of what happened. I have phone records to prove it I was on the phone for 4 minutes on 06/08/2021 at 3:29pm the representative on the phone said over and over you called a different place even though I didn't..... I offered to send a copy of my phone bill showing that I did call the right place. The first person I spoke with said that some one tried to call the other place but no one answered or called back so they didn't call me back. The woman on the phone said no one said that. THIS IS NOT OK THE LAWN MOVER HAD SPARKS COMING FROM IT DUE TO POOR WORKMANSHIP DO NOT GO TO THEM I WILL BE LOOKING INTO FURTHER ACTION! DO NOT GO HERE YOU WILL REGRET IT!

I brought in the mower to get a problem fixed. The technician did that, but forgot to do the tune up. The mower wouldn't start after initial visit. I called and spoke with the owner and he said to bring it back in for the tune up. My mower was at the top of the list to get the tune up and was done within a couple of hours. It works great now.

Lawn mower would not start towards the end of last fall. Forgot about it until this spring when we needed to mow the lawn. Took the mower in and was told they wouldn't be able to get to it for two weeks because of the number of customers ahead of us. When I didn't hear from them at the two week mark, I called the next business day (Monday). They apologized because they were a little more behind than they anticipated and would have it figured out by the end of the week. Got a call Tuesday that it was ready to go. Fuel had gone bad. They drained the fuel, flushed the system, and it's running great now. Also was given information on how to prevent this from happening again and an education in what happens to our fuel before it reaches the gas station. Very informative, friendly, and professional staff!

I have been going to Cascade for 3 years now, and this is the 2nd time it has taken well over a month to get my equipment back.  I took 2 mowers to them on March 30th and as of May 12th, I still do not have one of them back.  I was told it would be about a week.  When I didn't hear from them for about 2 weeks, I called and was told 1 mower was finished, the other needed parts and would be ready in about a week.  I explained I'd rather make 1 trip and pick up both mowers at the same time, so I'd wait and get them both when the 2nd one was ready.  Didn't hear back from them, called and was told they weren't sure whether the parts had come in or not, but there was a big pile of boxes in the back and they'd take a look.  Didn't hear back, called and was told instead of receiving a lifter for each side, they received 2 lifters for the same side, so they'd have to wait for the correct parts.  I finally gave up and went in to pick up the mower that was ready.  The tune-up on that cost $99.  I expressed my frustration at how long this was going on and that it didn't seem like any progress was made on my mower until I called each time, at which point the next step would be taken and it would sit there until I called again.  I also explained my frustration was heightened because this is pretty much exactly what happened a year or two ago with another mower I brought in. They apologized and offered explanations that sounded like excuses.  I asked if they would deliver the 2nd mower to my house free of charge when it was finished because I didn't want to have to come out again.  They agreed, but I was surprised I had to ask for this.  And then the saga continued for another 3 weeks: no word, I call, they apologize, no word, I call, etc...  Finally I got a call that it was finished and I owed $209.  I promptly paid for that over the phone, and then waited the rest of the day to find out when the mower would be delivered.  No call.  This morning I, once again, called them. The mower is supposed to be delivered 2-1/2 days after I paid for the repairs.  A big part of my frustration has to do with their lack of follow-through which makes their apologies seem meaningless, and makes me feel like they have very little regard for me as their customer. Twice is enough.  I will not use them again.

Found out about Cascade on Angies list and I'm glad I did. This is a small shop specializing in lawn and garden equipment. I thought my lawn mower was toast but I came to find out here that it was not - pleasant surprise. Had oil in the air cleaner which looked bad to me but they fixed it all up with their standard maintenance service. Very reasonable cost and my mower runs like a top now. I'll be taking it in this fall so I'm ready to go next spring.

They are very busy this time of year in preparation for Spring and the had a Register Guard promotion going on.  They completed the work requested in timely manner and the work was satisfactory at a fair price.  No complaints.
