Had to have tub resurfaced because a big chip was taken out of it during remodel. Bathcrest was prompt, professional, clean. they gave good instructions for use following resurface so that tub would have enough cure time .

The worker was courteous and pleasant. He came when he said he was. I don't think the price was wrong but the work was not good. He didn't do a good job. I had him come back and he was not necessarily polite when he came back to redo the shower area. The shower and tub surfaces weren't even. It wasn't done professionally. It looked like it was oversprayed and undersprayed. They used different people and they have really good results with most of them. I think it's just the person that they set contract with me wasn't that good.

We have one-sixth ownership of a condo overlooking the ocean at Otter Rock. The downstairs fiberglass shower-tub bottom was quite worn with hair-line cracks that were spreading and difficult to keep clean. To make things worse anti-slip adhesive strips had been added to the bottom of the tub to make it safer. These strips were wrinkeled and starting to peel. We stopped using this shower and used one upstairs to avoid the possibility that the downstairs unit was unlikely to be sanitary no matter how it was cleaned.
After consulting with the other owners, we were authorized to contact BathCrest and get an estimate for the repair and refinish of the tub.
We talked to the owner of the franchise in Eugene, Denny Thomas, directly and he thoroughly explained the charges based on the amount of damage to the tub, the depth of the cracks and the travel time from Eugene. He suggested that we send pictures of the tub bottom in order for him to give us a ball park figure. After he received the pictures he thought the tub didn't have deep cracks that needed a new base . He said he could do the job for under $500.00. We agreed on a date to have the work done when it was our week to be at the condo. It was scheduled for Nov. 19th at 10:30am . The owner, Denny Thomas, who did the work called ahead and arrived on time with all of his equipment and was finished by noon. He had equipment set up to ventilate the unit while he worked and he cleaned up thoroughly before he left. The final bill was $475, $300 of that was travel time.
We were amazed and delighted with the results. The tub bottom looks new and has a textured surface to prevent slips and falls.
We were told we could use the bathtub the next day. There was little or no odor the next day. This is a fact important to me, the wife, because I am sensitive to solvents, etc. that can trigger Asthma.

They put a new finish on my old bathtub. After they came there were rough spots that needed to be repaired. It took them 2 weeks to come back out. Then they goofed up the appointment and tried to come a day later. This very simply wouldn't work for me as I had already arranged to have someone at the house to meet them while I was at work. He came and sanded down the rough spots and then painted over the worst of the spots. It was not smooth or uniform. Where he had sanded there were scratch marks and where he had painted there were shiny glossy paint spots. The overall look was not good. When I complained and he came back out he was not very friendly and he said it just needed to be buffed out. So.... if it needed to be buffed out, why didn't he do it before? While he was not the friendliest the woman I spoke with in the office was very nice. I still am not thrilled with how it looks. You can see the spots where he painted the last time. Even though I have heard from others that they did a good job on other places, I would not use this service again.

The job was done on time and neat and clean. No hidden cost. They were great to work with. Will use them when we redo our rentals.

The repairman was on time and knowledgeable and courteous. He was able to repair the cracks in the tub and cleaned the shower. Both look like new and at a fraction of the cost that I expected. Good communication with the office and repairman.

The people in the office are great at communicating with me. They're one of the nicest companies I've ever worked with. The demeanor, the communication, and the quality of their work was beautiful. Considering the snow that we had recently, they were quick to reach out to reschedule with me.

We had to schedule our appointment to re-glaze the bath tub about 2 weeks in advance. They gave us instructions on what they needed done - the tub tile surround, and what not to have done, ideally- the floor and caulkin. The service man showed up promptly. He was disappointed that we did not have lighting in the new bathroom yet but he made do with a shop light from his truck. He spent 2-3 hours completing the process and instructed us to wait 48hrs before using. The house smelled a bit like finger nail polish when it was all done but that went away within a few hours.

Company was prompt, and serviceman happily answered questions and explained how the process would work. Service took about 3.5 hours (they block out 4 hours). Tub looks like new. We'll see over time how well the new finish wears, but at this point I'm impressed with the work, and their thoroughness. Good site prep and cleanup. Great job.

Everything went fine, from estimate to the job being done. The results made a somewhat scarred shower floor suddenly gleam. We congratulated ourselves for the change created.

Just as they promised. An older shower pan now looks clean and new.
