"I'm truly sorry this customer was unhappy, when we deal with a different person such as owner or management company, our hands are tied as how much the responsible party wants to pay for and who they allow us to communicate with. This service is done on the 3rd Tuesday of each month and is still being serviced. This is a mobile home and mice can easily access, so bait boxes have been emptied each time we've been out. "This is the first I've heard of this account, it was treated on 4-4-2014 over a year ago, as a 1 time service for carpet beetles with a 30 day guarantee, then a follow up treatment on 4-21-2014. The customer paid for the service with no complaints, if they had we would have extended the service or not charged. I hope this isn't another situation where the customer confused us with someone else, as they refer to 3- visits and we only made 2 and the company that came twice resolved the problem. This will be the 3rd time we've gotten someone else's bad review which effects our average grade. I only hope that people go through the rest of our reviews as we service over 4,000 customers each year."
"This was an interesting situation as this member was not on service but apparently has something to do with a motel we treated for bed bugs at the location he listed I choose not to mention the name out of respect of privacy. We treated 9-rooms in Dec 2014, got a call back to treat 4-roorms on April 9th and did a free follow up call on April 22, found lots of dead bed bugs before I retreated and explained that with that many dead ones this had to have gone on for a long time and that do it yourself products had made the problem worse by driving the bugs deeper into hiding. I don't know what the purpose of insulting us and saying we charged and took a nap other than the person is obviously frustrated at the situation, which often happens when an insect issue goes on so long. I contacted the owner who said she did not write the review and knew nothing of it, and said we would do whatever possible to get this under control but there is no miracle fix once it's been treated by do it yourself products and often makes the problem go longer than normal. "I am unaware of any follow-up calls as we always respond to calls when they're made this job was postponed for a couple weeks by the owner because the owner could not locate his crawlspace opening and when it was found he called we came out the possum by that time was extremely deteriorated: in the crawlspace because of many obstructions forced the technician to crawl the entirestructure to get to the animal which was with insight of where the technician entered but could not be accessed due to ducting and other obstructions. I will contact the customer to see what more we can do for him as we always want to leave our customers happy.."
"I guess Mrs [member name removed] is confusing us with another company which is the second time this has been done. The first time she called and said she already contracted with someone else for mole trapping as well as us for pest control, our technician placed mole traps which her husband removed, I went out myself and reset the traps and everything was fine. We've been back for 2 monthly follow-ups since and she has paid for her services without complaint. We will of course contact her again in person and make sure all is well. It's unfortunate for the bad grades as it lowers are average, we had another customer complaint with all F's and then gave us a follow up review with all A's, hopeful this will turn out the same. I have called Dylan, who works for Dave, 5 times and he does not respond. I am assuming they no longer want our business.
"Just returned from an anniversary trip no cell or internet service. I was surprised to get this message and only wish she would have called the office number 1st. I contacted Mr [removed member name] this morning to offer credit for last service, and offered next month free while I figure out why they got no response from the technician. Our reputation is extremely important to us and I feel we let this customer down when they called the tech and got no response. If you want someone to just come out to your house and spray for insects, then this provider is probably adequate. However, I do not recommend them for rodent control. Today, when I talked with the provider he indicated we should continue to put traps out whether we purchased them from him or bought them from the store. He seemed indifferent to putting any additional effort into ridding the house of the rodents. Since we could easily do what he did, I saw no need to continue the service with them. I canceled all future services and do not plan to use them in the future.
There are other pest management companies in the area that I feel confident could do a much better job than "Ask the Bug Man."
I'm quite disappointed because this company was rated very good on Angie's list.
"Clearly a case of misunderstanding, the customer was told we prefer trapping over baiting for mice as bait may cause an odor problem if mice die in areas such as wall and floor voids, the spray service was part of the rodent service at no additional charge. there was no other services preformed nor charged as we call our customers each month before we come out and each time the customer requested to delay and never complained. I only wish she would have called the office, and I would have been happy to either fix any misunderstanding or refund for her 1 and only service that was preformed in November. I must say I was surprised and disappointed to read this on my reviews 4-months after the fact."
