The veterinarian was very professional. The work was completed promptly. She was very thorough. I would recommend them to a friend.

The office was clean and had a separate area in the lobby for dogs and cats, which is great for my little cat hunter. The office staff were very helpful and answered all of my questions, both on the phone and in person. The medical staff were all friendly and professional, and sincerely seemed to enjoy working with my dog. They answered my questions and offered lots of information concerning the diseases and pests found in the area (we have recently moved her from WI). They recommended a different heartworm/fleaand tick preventative that would be more effective in this climate. They also provided an estimate for future services, which is great to plan for those big things, like dental cleanings. I liked them, and more importantly, they put my dog at ease.

Dr. Johnson has been caring for our pets since she and her husband bought the practice. She has always shown great professionalism in each visit we have had. She is very sensitive to our feelings about our pets and goes above and beyond to explain things in terms that we can understand. There has never been a time when we felt that we were being taken advantage of. When we need to get in for an appointment on short notice, the staff has always made a point to get us in as soon as possible. The office staff and vet techs are all wonderful. Many of them have been there for years, which is a testament to the quality and reputation of this practice. Although we have moved quite a distance from the office, we are happy to go the distance to ensure that our pets are well cared for. I can't recommend this practice highly enough.

They are really, really good. I use Judy Schroder for my vet. I had seen her before, she was at a different clinic, I found her and tracked her down at Animal Health Associates, and that's where I go now. I just really like her very much. They are a little expensive.

We arrived in Springfield in the summer of 2001 bringing with us four dogs. After trying a few other Vet services we stumbled upon Animal Health Associates and it has been a marvelous experience. Dr. Johnson has been the one constant in our lives over the past decade and she is closer to us than a family physician could ever be! She and the remarkable staff of caring assistants have treated, nursed, counseled us, and our dogs through every imaginable crisis.
Dr. Shroeder has been deeply involved in caring for the last of our four dogs and my wife and I couldn't be more pleased with the gentle way both of the Doctors have treated our pets. Among the assistants we cherish our relationship with Bill who has been there since the beginning, but we have never dealt with any staff member who didn't have our pets best interest at heart! Amber, Andrea, Brian, Cassidy, Chelsea, Josh, Nicole, and Jim all have earned places in our hearts and also all probably have their favorite funny/sad stories to tell about our relationships over the years.
If you are looking for a Vet service where you and your pets will be treated even better than family, than do yourself a favor and visit Animal Health Associates! It's the place where love and service unite!

The staff is very good

She and her staff are a good combination of caring and professional service. They've fit me in several times on very short notice with some urgent care needs. Many of her associates been with her for years, which speaks well for the environment. Pllus it helps my dog feel more comfortable when it's not new faces every time. I like to mix primary care with various alternative styles when appropriate and Dr. Johnson's been good about working collegially with others when she or I have felt specialized service was needed -- sharing records, filling prescriptions and such. Good solid care!

There really isn't a start to finish with this kind of service. Veterinarians don't do "projects." The approximate cost I stated is an average of what it has cost each time I've taken my pets in for care.

I began going to the business by a friend's recommendation. As of now, I am very satisfied with their thoroughness and straightforward approach. They have a pleasant way. The receptionist is very gracious.
