My lab, who swims whenever she can, had a yeast infection in one of her ears. The vet had a new medication that he added to her ear, that would last a week and not wash out. Her ear was better after only 3 days.

We have been using Amazon Park Animal Clinic for over 10 years now. Dr. Heyward, Dr. Jones and crew are wonderful people and extremely thorough in their assessment and treatment. All options are presented to you and they help you make an informed decision regarding your pets' care. I've referred several friends and co-workers to them. Everyone has been pleased!

Cary has when necessary come to my house to euthanize geriatric pets. Specifically my dog of twelve years and three years later my sixteen year old cat. She was very respectful and showed such loving grace when ministering to both of my pets. She helped to make both experiences more positive, meaningful and memorable.

We had a short wait, and then Dr. Jones examined Kali thoroughly, describing his observations as he went. He made a couple of suggestions about improving her diet for general health and then gave her the rabies update. Dr. Jones was clear, articulate and eminently sensible.

We just moved into the area and are investigating possible vets. We stopped by just to get a feel for the place as a potential vet and to replenish our prescription cat food supplies (Prescription KD and OM). We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door. They only had a 10 pound bag of one food (KD) and were out of the other (OM). They recommended Science Diet Light as a temporary substitute for the OM, which is good advice. They also reminded us of the return policy on these foods should our cats reject them, which I thought was very nice of them. The food prices were pretty much the same as we paid in San Francisco. On request, they quoted us their visit rate ($47) but did not have a rate sheet. We inquired about house calls, as one of our cats is 18 and very skittish. They will do house calls in such cases, but only after an initial office visit. However, they did refer us to a mobile/house-call-only vet without our asking for this info. Another client with a yellow lab came in for an appointment and was also dealt with immediately and in a friendly manner. We are definitely considering making these folks our vet.

They called for the next 2 days to check and make sure that Rosie was OK.

I have Cari as my preferred veterinarian at the clinic. She is extremely compassionate, patient and knowledgeable. She will not do anything unless it is absolutely necessary. For example, my dog had a blocked tear duct. She stated there was no need to have it removed as it would not cause harm to my dog. February is teeth cleaning month so it is a reduced rate compared to other months. When making payments, they will work with you rather than paying for total amount all at once.
