Absolute Painting

This joke of a company did a remodle and did a horrible job never finished and charged way too much and ended up leaving before they finished. All the work done needed to be replaced and the quality was so bad I was shocked. Never hire this company for anything else but painting and I’m not even sure about that!!!

Great....very pleased. Competent crew, good equipment and technique...they know what they're doing, use the best paint, are thorough, and have been in business many years. If you want a solid job, they're the ones.

Preparation began as scheduled. Painting continued as scheduled weather permitting. They were very responsive to all of our requests and concerns and we are very pleased with the finished product. The final price was as estimated.

I wasnot able to see the job before I paid for it. Tenant called the job OK so I paid. BIG mistake

I was just moving into my house and found that the bathroom, that had just been painted by someone else, had the paint sheeting off of the walls and ceiling. I grabbed the old-fashioned telephone book and found Kerry and Absolute Painting. He was responsive and came within a few days, it wasn't an emergency. He knew immediately what had happened.
The guy I had rented to, had smoked marijuana in the bathroom, and the THC caused the oils to coat to the walls. The new paint wouldn't stick to it. Kerry had to specially clean the walls, and recommended a special finish for them that is a faux plaster/fresco finish. It took about 3 coats to complete and looks great.
The bathtub reglazing job was the best I have ever had done. Other processes are very stinky and take at least 3 days and a high power heater for them. Kerry used a low VOC product and it was done in 2 days and looks great. He matched the color of the tub to that of the cabinets.
He has been very pleasant and professional to use, and I definitely will be calling Absolute Painting again.

Kerry Johnson is the owner. I misunderstood and I over paid him. He pointed it out. I had enough credit from the paint of the cabinets in both bathrooms. He is very honest and I had provided the keys so that they could come and go at their convenience because I am not living there. It is nice when you can trust somebody that much. I keep adding things. He would come at night to work. He came there yesterday and told me that he wouldn't be back until Monday because his daughter is in something up in Washington. Otherwise he has been there during the day or at night. I had ordered the blinds and I wanted all the window sills to be painted. I asked him about that. He said that he noticed that and what needed to be done. I thought so too. He did the doors like the door doors and closet doors. All these were additional and were about $2750 for doing all the doors in the entire house and apartment. He did all of the baseboards and every window sill. I thought that it was a good price.

We obtained 3 estimates. Absolute Painting fell in the middle between one that was ridiculously high and pretentious and another that was slightly lower but who's contact person proved careless about keeping appointments. The Absolute Painting estimate was very close to what we had paid for the same job 3 years ago and seemed very fair. The job was mainly carried out by young assistants but was adequately supervised by the boss and we are very satisfied with the results.

It was hard on them, it took longer to do than they expected. They did them 3 times, but they still charged the same amount and were really fair. The wood wouldn't take the stain. They had to strip and sand the cabinets again and they turned out really nice. I will be hiring them back to do some more work.
