The guy was friendly and seemed knowledgeable. He was here 10 minutes, 5 of which was just chatting. He listened to my quick story and without needing to examine the oven indicated that it was most likely the control board, which he'd need to order. Visit cost $125, then the cost to replace the board was going to be $370 - so $495 in total, for replacing a $50 part that takes less than 15 minutes to replace. I instead ordered the part online and replaced it myself in 12 minutes. In fact it wasn't the control board causing the issue so I returned it for a refund and will move on to plan B on my own.

BE WARNED: This company cannot be found on the Better Business Bureau website. There is no way to leave a review or issue a formal complaint with the BBB about them. Aayers Appliance Repair has some of the worst customer service and communication I have ever encountered. I highly recommend that you give this company a pass, and look elsewhere when needing any sort of appliance repair. Our experience: We noticed our dishwasher had a leak, and my partner decided to give them a call to have it repaired. The technician that came out “diagnosed” the issue (charging over $100 to do so), by pulling the dishwasher out and informing us that a rat had chewed the drain line. We were told we needed a new drain line, and it’d have to be ordered, so we paid $50 to have it ordered. Around 2 weeks later, we hadn’t heard anything yet, so gave a call to check up on the status of the part. They did not answer, but when they called back the lady was unfriendly and informed my partner that the part is on back order. She said if we wanted to cancel our order, we could get a refund for the part but only if it hadn’t shipped yet. A couple weeks passed and I asked my partner to check up again to see if they had any new info. He left a message, and they did not return our call. Fast forward to nearly 8 weeks after our original service call… I decide to give a call to check in, and I cannot stress enough how awful these people are. When speaking to the woman in the office, she said that she’d take my information and give me a call back when she could check on the part. I mentioned that my partner had left a message a couple weeks prior and never heard back. At this point the woman became rude and combative, and I expressed that I didn’t appreciate the sassy attitude she had and that they seem to have poor customer service. Her husband then gets on the line and is also rude and borderline yelling at me. Now, I understand that because of COVID and the pandemic, there are many things that are taking longer than normal to ship. I special order product every single day at my job, and I have to inform customers of delayed or changing timelines constantly. But I NEVER fault a customer for calling and wanting to check up on their order and I happily (and politely!) give them the information. Additionally, every company I work with will provide me with some sort of ETA for when they anticipate the shipment to come in. They do explain that with backordered products, that date can fluctuate but can give some frame of reference between 1 month and 10 months ETA. But apparently Aayers Appliance Repair cannot/will not try to come by information from their vendors like this. I was told by the husband (and I assume Owner), that the part is on back order, they can’t get information of an ETA from their vendor, that they’d call us when it came in, and that we needed to stop calling. I expressed to the owner that if they can’t get an ETA, then what does it hurt for me to give a call once every couple of weeks to see if they had new information? He proceeded to yell at me that I have a “listening problem” and we needed to stop calling. Keep in mind this was only the third call we’d made in nearly two months! I told him that at this point I’d like my money back, and he said “No!” I repeated the information his wife told my partner 6 weeks prior, that we could get our money back if the part hadn’t shipped. He then tried to claim that we hadn’t paid $50 for the part, and I had to pull out our receipt and checkbook to prove that we had indeed paid for it. The owner finally agreed that they’d put a check in the mail the following day. We received the refund check for the part. They are returning $45 to us, despite the fact that the receipt says we paid $50 for this part. You’ve got to be kidding me! If you are reading this review, I truly encourage you to shop around and check out multiple different companies that offer appliance repair in the area. It is not worth the frustration to deal with these people. I’d give zero stars if I could.

Repaired completely. Also taught me about my machine things I didn't know already. Didn't make me feel stupid for not knowing.

The service was free because it was a warranty. It took an hour for the work to be completed. I kept using them because they were super friendly. He genuinely seemed to like his job and wanted to do a good job for me. That made me want to use them again. The best thing that this company has to offer is excellent service.

For price, they are reasonable. For punctuality, they are on time every time. Professionalism is really nice. One person came out. It took two visits of less than an hour each for the work to be completed on the fridge. They were efficient and friendly. They left the area exactly as it was when they came in. They explained everything to me.

Repair tech that came by was excellent, friendly knowledgeable. Charges were Astronomical compared to what I expected. I expected to pay $80 for labor if the visit was about 1 hour or less, ….. it was (60 to 65 minutes). The labor however for that HOUR was $185. $80 for washer, $40 more to check 2nd appliance/the dryer, then $65 more labor to replace a switch. The switch was charged at $30, I found same switch on eBay for $6.71 including shipping from Arizona. The total for checking two appliances & changing 1 switch $215.00 !! I think letting customers know that you might end up paying nearly $200/hr. labor is forthright and honest. Just for perspective I googled “hourly wages for surgeons” The top hit says…a range usually between $168-$277…. If you hire these people you might want a anesthesiologist to go along with the surgeon. PS I live right in town, 2.2 miles from Kesey Square (as per Google Maps).

Love love love this company. This is the third time we've used them over that last several years. Always friendly and professional. Craig came to look at our dishwasher that had stopped working. He told us what was wrong and what it would cost to repair it. Then, when we decided it was best to go buy a new dishwasher, even gave us some recommendations.

The service was fine. He was professional, efficient, and explained things to me well. I have no complaints as to how the work was performed.
My only real complaint was the service I received from his bookkeeper. There was a misunderstanding about a cost for an additional part I didn't know had to pay for. When I asked for my original receipt for the main cost of the work that I had already paid for (so I could be reimbursed by my landlord), it was withheld until I paid the additional small part. I found this to be highly unprofessional. Because of the bookkeeper, I will likely not use his services again.

We were very happy with him. It was under warranty. He responded. He was here when he said he would be here. He was very clean and very personable. He took the time to explain what was going on. He seemed very experienced. Even though this was a brand-new refrigerator he was aware of a manufacturing hiccup in part of the system in the freezer and so was starting to build up ice in the Freezer. Of course it's a frost free Freezer. He knew just what it was that was causing it and fixed it.

Love this company!!
A couple years ago I called them to repair the freezer at the parent's home - great service.
The freezer decided to act up again. The manufacturer says there's a design flaw in their drainage systems and were offering repair kits. Shane was able to replace the defective part (he thought ahead and had the kits on hand) and the fridge is working great again.

Quoted $700.00 to repair. Suggested I purchase a new machine. I used Aayers previously to try to repair the igniters in my Thermador stove. To his credit, he did replace them twice, but neither were functional and I did pay over $100.00 for the service. He simply quit responding to my calls. This was several years ago.
