Aaron is a master at coordinating his own work with the efforts of his subcontractors. He was on site each and every day to make sure that each phase of construction was being completed to his very high standards. He worked with us on ongoing design decisions and modifications. Aaron modified his projections accurately to accommodate the inevitable changes involved in a project of this magnitude. He and his workers were always pleasant and polite. The crew made a sincere effort to clean up after themselves and create a safe work environment. When we purchased our home we had a home inspector take a look at all aspects of the structure. This inspector was a very experienced general contractor. When considering the scope of the proposed remodel work, this inspector recommended Aaron Shoemaker Construction and offered that Aaron was his choice to work on his own home. When we got bids for the extensive project, we had a number of general contractors bid the work. Most of the bids were clustered in a narrow range. Aaron was in this range yet offered creative and timely design solutions to help us stay on schedule and on budget. Aaron's business is a small size, with just he and one other worker on site most days. However, he brings in carefully chosen subs at appropriate times to help. His small size allows him superb quality control. However, he is often booked ahead and we waited quite awhile for our place in his schedule. He was worth the wait. I have been involved in numerous building and remodeling projects over the course of 25 years. Aaron Shoemaker exceeded our expectations in every phase of our project. I can not recommend him highly enough. We have decided to remodel our master bath and are currently waiting for another opening in Aaron's schedule. I would encourage anyone who is concerned about quality to give Aaron a chance at your project. You will be glad you did.
