It was great. Took less time than I expected and the cost was less than expected. Ray the electrician was quick and very knowledgeable in troubleshooting the issue. the problem turned out to be a working outlet that was not allowing the power to go to the next device.

Bill came out promptly and reviewed the existing conditions and provide easy to understand description of work and cost. Ray came out the next day and began the work. The work was completed on time and as quoted. The craftsmanship was superb. I certainly recommend Square 1.

As I mentioned above i was quite impressed with the company and will use them to fix our furnace.

These guys were absolutely great! They were able to come over on the same day that I called and fixed the two issues that we were having. They located and repaired a loose connection in a power outlet (which was the source of our outage issue), and replaced several light switches as well. The technician (Robert) was very knowledgeable and patient, taking the time to answer my questions and making sure I had a good understanding of what was going on. I would highly recommend this provider!

Young, pleasant installer was early - he was anxious to do job. No problem with installation; problem arose afterward when he left. He asked for, and I gave him our old ceiling fan, plus I gave him a $20 tip. Immediately after he left, however, I realized the pull chain was unreachable - except with a ladder! I am tall, so it would have been out of reach to all but a professional basketball player. I called him right away (he'd been gone for 3 minutes). When I explained the problem and asked for a chain extension, he refused to bring one - suggesting that I pick one up at any hardware store. Not a good experience, plus the fan is wobbly.

Technician came out on a Saturday, showed up early and did great work. Super friendly and professional technician AND office staff!

I purchased an Angie's list deal for a light install, but it wasn't clear that this did not include running wires to a new location, but rather just replacing an existing fixture with a new one. They were courteous in their explanation and kindly refunded my payment for the special offer. They provided professional courteous service on the phone and I would call them again.

Square 1 Electric A No 23-Sep-13 I purchased a coupon to have a ceiling fan installed, but the coupon deal was not clear to me that it is only good for replacement of an existing ceiling fan. Square 1 was very gracious as they explained the difference to me (I am replacing a light fixture with ceiling fan) and took the time to tell me what a new install would cost and what parts I may want to make sure I have in advance. They also made sure I knew about a 10% off coupon I can use. The work will be performed next week by Square 1.

Initial deal did not cover the gauge of wire that was determined needed so the deal wasn't used. I instead hired the electrician to install a heavier gauge wire and provide an exterior plug. I think the parts and quality of the installation was good. Price was reasonable. I would hire them again.

Ray was very pleasant, professional, neat. he went the extra mile, in securing the fan to wood, where there wasn't any. I have an old dog he had to walk over and a curious cat. He went beyond tolerating, to being friendly with them. I absolutely would recommend him and this company!

The first electrician was 1.5 hours late and did not call until I had given up on him. I had taken 3 hours off work for this project, and he never called until I finally gave up on him and left for work. The office of Square 1 had even called the day before to confirm his arrival at 7am, but he never called until 8:30am. That is the reason I rated the overall project a B. The office apologized and offered to do the job on a Saturday at straight time with someone else. The second experience was much better. The electrician called and said he was running slightly late, and arrived slightly there after. He worked quickly and efficiently and was very cooperative. As the office agreed, they paid for the permit and were very fair about the coupon. They made up for the first bad experience. We are very happy with our new ceiling fan and kitchen light fixture.

We had called a heating company (reviewed well on this list) who had quoted us over $900.00 (plus roof repair by a roofer) to replace our noisy fan. They didn't show up on the day we scheduled so I cancelled the job. They had also been very slow to get us an estimate. I couldn't find another heating company that would do the job, and our roofer (also on this list) suggested an electrician. This company said it would be cheaper and better to just replace the motor in the existing fan so we wouldn't have to have the roof re-done after a new fan was installed. The man showed up on time and did the work. The fan is silent now. We have to listen carefully to tell if it's on. We are very happy with the result. Our attic is hot and close, and he was very good natured about having to work up there, much less crawl into the little door to get in.

Ray and Nate were GREAT. Arrived promptly at the scheduled time. Did all the work per the estimate. Did a very detailed walk through when work was completed. Excellent Clean-up after the work was done. Their personalities and quality of their work were absolutely fantastic. Scheduling the original time for estimates and going the extra mile to work with us when we had to postpone the original start date was a breeze. SQUARE 1 is the BEST. Will absolutely use them again and recommend them to all our friends.

Outstanding company from the moment I called Holly at the office to schedule to when Ray (the electrician) showed up and did an awesome job with the install. He had a great sense of humor and ensured we were happy prior to leaving. Top notch and would hire them again in a heartbeat!

It went perfect. Electrician sometimes they're not really good and these guys knew what they were doing.

Electrician arrived on time and first question was whether I wanted a remote for the fan. He said that I could go to Home Depot to pick it up while he started on another small electrical issue. When I returned, he installed the remote along with the fan. The fan is working perfectly and I am very happy with the work. It would have been great if the company would have suggested I purchase a remote when I booked the job or if they carried extras on their truck. I didn't like leaving the house; however, I am happy that I have the remote.

Ok. Knew what to do with alarm panel.

We had a little glitch when the message wasn't.conveyed promptly that he would be later than expected but it was quickly remedied.

My experience went very well, I didn't pay anything other than the big deal value and I would give them overall A's all the way.

On time for day of estimate. My needs was well spelled out for Kurt. Full estimate received a day later. Service day 8-14-13, crew was on time and prepared to work. Ray and Nathan worked great together. Old fuse panel removed and new 200 amp Circuit Breaker box relocated. Start time 7:30am, power back on around 4pm. Very happy with the work done.

Electricians were very knowledgeable and very helpful. When we weren't sure how to get into the attic space, they offered to come by at a different date, rather than charging me for that time. The office staff - Tiana - was also extremely helpful in getting things rescheduled. They installed a new attic fan and the face on the outside. Then they put in new lights in the dining room. Through out the whole thing they kept me informed of what was going on and the next process. I would gladly use Square One again as they are just awesome and they do an excellent job!
