Very satisfactory. Ray was very knowledgeable and professional. I expected to pay much more than I did.

I bought a deal on Angie's List for 4 hours of electrician services from Square One and it was a great buy. Holly from Square One called me promptly to schedule the service and followed up with an email when she couldn't reach me. I waited to have the work done until after the holidays and had no problems scheduling. Holly was great about answering my questions and noting the type of work I wanted done and I like that she told me the name of the electrician who would be working at my home. She also warned me that the cost of permits is not included which was good to know in advance. My work was done by Robert who was punctual and came ready to work. I had a list of projects for him to do and we went through them in order of priority. The first on my list was to install an additional porch light. Robert looked at the current set up and found that things were not done properly the first time and recommended handling the porch during a different appointment to ensure it was done properly. He also offered me the discounted rate of the deal which was nice. Not doing the porch gave Robert time to finish all of the other projects on my list which was more economical and a better use of time (and quite frankly, more satisfying)! He was fast and careful and did a wonderful job. I am having him back next week to finish the porch project!

We are pleased with our 4 flood light that were installed on the sides of our home for better lighting. It took the four hours and did not include permit cost. It was a good value with exceptional service.

Provider was available to work on Saturday. Arrived on time. The job took exactly as long as it was estimated. The cost was ~40% less than competition.

Tore out all old wiring that was feeding apartment, installed 3 way switching and 2 lights for stairs, installed 7 lighting outlets, installed 5 120 volt GFI outlet, installed 240 volt 30 amp for dryer and new dryer cord, installed outside light, installed 3 light switches. |Ray did the majority of the work and I was completely pleased with the quality of his work. He was both professional and unusually nice. I will be using this company in the future.

I only got 2 hours of service done so since I paid for 4 I'm waiting to see if I'll get the other two hours when I need it. The electrician was very helpful and able to give me advice about my ceiling problem.

They installed a circuit in the garage for two outdoor plugs and one plug in garage and a stairwell light, and a circuit in the kitchen for one plug.They also moved the range plug. Price includes materials and permit. The electrician explained what he was doing and why, worked in a timely manner and did all that we asked in an excellent way.

The installation and quality of workmanship was excellent. The project went so well, that I had Square 1 work on another electrical project.

Outstanding. I signed up for a $99 ceiling fan replacement. I actually asked if they could just replace the sockets and not the entire fan. When Ray got here he determined that the fan was not worth repairing. As my son had my car, Ray volunteered to run to the hardware store to get the part needed. He was unable to find the part so we decided to reschedule and have the entire fan replaced. In the meantime I decided to also have two outdoor lights replaced. I contacted them and added them to the plan. The ceiling fan and the two outdoor lights were replaced. I was thrilled. Ray again volunteered to run to the hardware store to get the appropriate battery for the fan's remote control, as my son again had my car. At the same time he picked up caulk that matched the house and sealed the outdoor lights. Very happy with all aspects of the work. Thanks Ray!

Contacted them about a quote. They came out and looked at the job, but I never received a quote - even after a couple of messages from me asking for their quote. Strange... The last message I got was "I have forwarded this information to Kurt." Kurt never called back. I would have held off on making a decision if they had simply said, "Sorry, we're really behind. We'll have it to you by Tuesday." Nothing but silence on their end.

The service rep that came out was very nice, but a visit wasn't exactly what we needed. He said he would send A bid with an estimate, but hasn't.

We had our 4 smoke alarms replaced with 5 year warranty ones. The workman was very informative and explained how they worked. He told us what to watch for to make sure they were functioning correctly. All went very well.

He showed up right on time- in fact, I was called earlier in the week saying they had a cancellation and could they come earlier. Very personable young man who went right to work and had everything done very quickly. The light makes all the difference in the room and I was very pleased with the service- definetly would use them again!

My husband had actually repaired this light and the repeat problems we had appeared to be due to a series of bad bulbs. But, Ray was very thorough and set my mind at ease as we had a mouse infestation and I was worried that the wiring had been chewed up. We got some valuable advice and peace of mind. Ray called to say he had hit a traffic snag which was much appreciated. I am always pleasantly surprised when this happens but it seems to be SOP with Square 1.

It went well. Nicely done job. A few minor quibbles: my wife reports she had to mop up after electrician's dirty boots. He left off a circuit breaker, easily turned back on. The cut-out in wall is a big rough looking, I'll need to patch it up a bit. Price was reasonable, I would use these folks again.

The service was fine. I did not spend any more than the big deal. The man who came out was very professional and he did a good job. He was fast and I was happy with him. He was also right on time.

Ray let us explain our problem asked questions and they looked things over and problem solved. Showed us how to pull can lights out of ceiling so we could get bulbs out and put in new bulbs properly, suggested easier bulbs to use for fixture. Yeah!

We needed to be able to turn on/off the stairwell and garage lights from upstairs and down. Robert advised best way to go would be to install remote switches rather than run wiring in the walls. This was the cheaper solution and we were also glad that we wouldnt have to do any sheetrock repair afterwards. The switches were rather expensive at 170./switch but we are happy that we had the work done and everything works great as promised. Robert arrived on time and was very pleasant and friendly. I would definately use Square 1 electric again.

Ray and Kurt were great. They were on time, quick, professional and took a look at two small issues in addition to updating the meter main.

They were very responsive and a good experience. We just decided not to go through without he project.

I live in a 1925 home. I had been putting the project off for about 5 years cause I was so nervous about what would be involved. Square1 was very good about explaining the process. They by far gave me the most detailed bid and though I had recieved a lower bid, I felt more comfortable with the thought that he put into it so that I would not be surprised with large unanticipated additional costs. They were on time and professional and friendly through the whole process.

Although they were very busy due to the Big Deal and the weather, they got us scheduled within the week. The gentleman arrived on time and set about his task. When he was finished, he clean up the area and confirmed that it was working properly. Very nice worker and an efficient process. Would gladly hire them for other jobs (and did).

Overall experience was excellent. The technician (Tony) was friendly, worked efficiently and performed a quality job. The only issue I have at this time is the new fan that was installed is now starting to vibrate so it is not as quiet as when previously installed. I may go with a higher quality fan in the future, when we remodel our master bathroom.

The electrician was very professional and knowledgeable. He provided regular updates on the progress of the work so that I knew exactly what was going on and what was left to be done. He also figured out a way to run the wiring for the new ceiling fan to the light switch that didn't require cutting a hole in the ceiling to direct the wire. I was extremely appreciative of this because then there was no need to patch a hole. Overall, I was very happy with the work performed and would gladly hire Square 1 Electric again.
