Giron had someone at our home to provide an estimate within 1-2 days. The work was scheduled within weeks and completed with delays only due to extremely rainy weather. The team was on time and courteous. Any questions we had during the process were answered quickly. We felt Giron looked after our project with much care and we are very pleased with the outcome.

I called Giron construction because of their good ratings on Angie's list. It was President's Day weekend, so I left several messages with other companies. The folks at Giron got back to me right away (unlike the others) and offered to come out the very next day at 8am to look at my roof. Jose arrived promptly the next morning and was very thorough in his assessment of our slow leak. He was candid and fair about our situation and helped us make an informed decision. I liked that Jose didn't try to "sell" or "push" us, he just provided the information and let us choose. We ended up choosing to go with a "roof tune-up" which allowed us to replace some of the old vents and get the house ready to sell in the next 24 months. Jose offered us a fair price and we scheduled the work to be done just 2 days later (the had next day availability, we just weren't going to be home). The Giron crew arrived right on time on a Saturday morning and the work was complete within a few hours. The crew was polite, professional, and answered all of my questions. They even put moss remover on my roof for no extra charge. I will definitely use these guys again if I have roofing issues.

It went great!. The first person I met was Jose, who came out to provide the estimate. I got 4 estimates before choosing, and Jose was by far the most thorough in explaining the process. Some of the reasons I chose Giron included: Jose's explanation of the product,; the estimate included enough plywood to make me feel like it would be covered by the estimate (and not incur more charges along the way); and the company had great reviews everywhere. The crew came out and worked in difficult weather and did an amazing job. There was a small area that wasn't perfectly straight along the front edge of the roof and when I called, they sent someone out to fix it within the week. A roof is a ton of money and I was very nervous when I started calling for estimates. Now that it's complete, I'm very happy I chose Giron and feel confident that if I need them in the future, they will stand by their work. I would definitely choose them again!

I called many olaces that were 4 weeks out for a service call. Giron came within 3 days gave me an estimate and repairs same day. Professional and quick, saving possible further damages.

The company worked with me on scheduling and found a multi-day window in the rainy February weather to complete the work. The entire project took 3.5 days, partly due to extra work in repairing shed underlay and also placing metal supports under beams over the deck, which had been sitting directly on the shingles and were prone to rot. The first day was tear-off and prep. For two days a single worker laid almost all of the shingles and did excellent work. For the last half day, two people prepared and roofed the shed and did a wonderful job of clean-up. My only concern was that I would have liked more notifications, such as when the materials would be delivered (they came about a week before the work started) and of how many days the job would take. However, the overall experience was excellent and I would recommend Giron without hesitation.

Just replaced my roof with Giron Construction and am extremely happy with the result! They did the entire job in a full day and a few hours the next morning. They were fast, polite, arrived on time, added some extra vents on the roof, and cleaned everything up! The next day, Mike came by to check on the finished job, had some photos of the parts of the roof where they replaced some bad plywood, and answered any questions. The day after that, I received my receipt and warranty. Great service!

They were so on top of it! Came out the same day I called to give a bid then moved us to top priority due to active leaks. Very fast response time to my texts and emails.

Hired a different contractor at first, but had to fire them after they started the job without a license. Giron was able to come in as soon as the weather cleared and pick up where the other guys left off. The crew was professional and friendly through out the entire process, keeping me up to date on all the work that was being done. there were several times they needed to go get extra wood above the estimate, they kept me informed so when the final bill came i knew exactly what extra charges there was going to be. I feel like they did a very thorough job and would not hesitate to work with them again.

Giron did a great job at a fair price with integrity in putting new roofs on two of the six duplex buildings that make up our condominium community in summer of 2015. When we discovered the new leak in another roof naturally we called them to assess and bid on the job. Teo Giron, owner, personally came out to assess the roof. Again, they were timely, provided patching services until the wiinter weather could pass and offered the same fair bid as two years ago. After taking off tear-off began, on inspection widespread water damage and weakness in the plywood roof was evident. The job turned out bigger than expected as we had to authorize them to replace all 65 sheets of plywood under the roofing as well due to water penetration. This pushed the original price up by some $3,500 but was essential to doing the job right. The team worked diligently into the evening to be sure it was done. In the end, the lead on the job followed through for another day and a half personally, despite declining temperatures and high winds, to finish the job and clean up the grounds thoroughly. Thanks too to Mike for being readily available by phone for communication. As HOA President I worked closely with Giron on all three new roofs they have now provided. I highly recommend them to anyone needing roofing services with high quality and fair pricing.

From initial contact with Jose to the end of the job this company far exceeded our expectations. They were very professional, and handled every detail in a timely manner. Great job guys.

After reading the favorable experiences of others I called Giron on Monday Jan 23 and scheduled an an appointment for a roof replacement estimate with Jose or Luis at 10:00 AM Thursday, Jan 26. Giron promptIy sent me an email appointment confirmation. No one showed up and no one called to say they would be late. At 11:30 AM I sent a replay email informing Giron of the no-show. I was home all day. That night (8:49 PM) I received an email form-estimate from Jose. The estimate was made without ever coming to the house or going up on the roof. The no-show estimate was also higher than another estimate by someone who actually showed up and walked the roof..

Excellent. Very professional and responsive.

On Wednesday Jan 18th we found a leak in our roof. Giron Construction was called around 5pm and Jose Giron came out the next morning at 8am (very fast). Other outfits we called ether had a long lead time or never called back. Jose came at 8am and did a thorough inspection of our leak and our roof. He found that all our flashing was deficient and not installed correctly. He said that he could have a guy out by Monday but maybe sooner. The roofer came out the same day and did a thorough job. He kept us informed of what he found and the repairs he made. We are very satisfied with the repairs and our faith in customer service is starting to come back.

Good. Only issue was how long it took to schedule the job after submitting a down payment.

Only received an evaluation/quote at this meeting. But did schedule the fix for the following week.

I called on a Tuesday and they were out by Friday, which was great considering it was in the middle of winter which I'm sure is their busiest time. The owner arrived on time but the ladder he brought was too short to get on our roof to inspect so he said he'd have to come out to inspect another time. I figured I'd have to wait until the following work week to have it inspected, but to my surprise, they sent another guy out on Saturday, which was New Year's eve. He diagnosed the issue through our crawl space in the attic and hopped on the roof to determine the vent was bent and needed to be replaced. We opted instead for a quick fix of caulking it for now and addressing the replacement in the summer. While he was up there he also inspected our chimney and caulked up some suspect spots to ensure there were no leaks. He provided pictures of all of this too. The best part is that it was such an easy and quick fix that we weren't charged! Will definitely be working with them again.

Lucas from Giron was professional and friendly: on the eve of a winter storm (2016) he was quick to get his team up to replace the vents and clean the roof. I appreciated his concern that this was done before the snow and rain came back for the weekend.

They did great work! Bent over backwards to make sure the jobs was done to my satisfaction. I needed roofing and gutters for sure, but since the price was so reasonable and added insulation and painting too.

Giron Construction (including Jose, one of the co-owners) came out three days later and replaced all of the vents on our roof, and checked for any other damage that needed to be repaired. They tacked down and sealed any protruding nails. Jose checked inside our attic crawl space for any water damage and moisture as well (none was found, thankfully). They even cleaned out our gutters! They were prompt, professional, courteous, and they cleaned up after themselves. They showed us before and after pictures of the work required & completed. I would happily work with them again.

We chose Malarkey Highlander 30 Year Shingles. We put half the estimated total down. A company employee appeared within a few hours of when we signed the contract with Giron. He fastened a large tarp to our roof to prevent further leakage. Due to the October storm, Giron was fairly overwhelmed with work, so for awhile we seemed to be in limbo when we contacted the company office. A couple of times they had trouble finding our contract. That is really the only complaint we had with the process. On November 18th, a truck unloaded the shingles onto our roof and placed other materials in our garage. On Saturday, November 19, a work crew of 8 people showed up and worked for about five hours, removing the old roof, adding new plywood and sealing it off. On Sunday, a five person crew showed up at 8:30 A.M. and completed the job by mid-afternoon. The salesperson and the project manager came and did an inspection the following day and an employee came and repaired the water damage to our interior ceiling. Final payment was made on November 22nd. The second half of the payment was about $500 more than estimated because they had to replace so many plywood panels due to mold. On November 29 we received our final receipt and two warranties: a fifteen year workmanship warranty from Giron, and the warranties on materials from Malarkey. We are pleased with both the workmanship and the materials used on our new roof.

Giron is great. We got estimates from three companies. Giron's rep, Lucas, gave us the best price estimate and was clear and up front about possible factors that could affect the estimate. When it was time to do the job, they found a perfect window of opportunity in November when we wouldn't have rain, and their team was quick and efficient. The bulk of the job was done in about a day and a half. The final cost matched the estimate -- no surprises. I really can't recommend these guys highly enough.

I spoke with their receptionist on a Friday, and by Monday Jose - one of the owners of the company - was out to take a look at the chimney and give me a bid. He showed up on time and was able to quickly determine the scope of the job and gave me a bid on the spot, which was very fair - less than I was expecting it to be. They were able to come out within a week of that to begin the project. During that time, a huge rainstorm revealed a small leak in the roof. When Jose came back to begin the project, I showed it to him and he offered to fix that while they were there for no additional charge. Jose brought one of his employees, Ulysses, with him to do the work. He was very through in going over the details of the project with Ulysses before heading off to another appointment, which I really appreciated. The removal of the chimney down to below the roof line (we did the rest of the demo ourselves) went relatively smoothly. One five-gallon bucket at a time, the debris was carefully taken off the roof and hauled away. During the demolition, there were a few stray bricks and some mortar that rolled off the roof onto the ground, but nothing was damaged as a result. Once the bricks were gone, the hole was patched and shingled, and all the debris was cleaned up and loaded into his truck, Ulysses showed me some process photos he had taken so I could see how it was put back together because the area couldn’t easily be seen from the ground. He started in the early afternoon, and despite taking a little bit longer than expected, he kept working after dark to get the hole patched up and then came by early the next morning to fix the leak. Bottom line: Excellent service-oriented company. I’d hire Giron Construction again for any roofing project.
