Electrician installed three in-wall lighting timers I had purchased.? He looked at the ceiling fan and we determined it was a bad receiver.

Phil was very professional, quick and everything works perfectly. ?I did not use the full 2 hrs and he asked if there was anything else he could do. ?The only problem was in getting the project scheduled - lots of phone calls that were not returned but eventually everything worked out.

Had trouble with another electrician showing up, so went back to Angie's List and found this provider. Phoned them about 10 am, and they had an electrician here by 2 pm the same day, exactly on time. Eric told me what the work would cost, I accepted, and he installed the fixtures. Eric also provided estimates on some other projects I was contemplating, but I decided to not proceed on two of them because they were far more complex than they were worth to me. The others I may do later. I like the fact that I could deal with just one person and get the job done, rather than go through multiple phone calls, then an estimator visit, then maybe an electrician. Mister Sparky was far more customer oriented.

He was prompt and told me what I need to get to make the fixture work and then I got bad information at Lowes and had to go back and time ran over a bit but he finished the work and didn't charge us any extra from the Big Deal price. He explained everything and answered all out questions. He was terrific. Wore booties so he wouldn't track in anything.

When I booked this service through an Angie's List special my confirmation said they would contact me to schedule the appointment within three or four days I believe. Instead it took about four weeks for them to get back to me. When the electrician first came out he was very nice but said that the old lights I wanted to install might not work and that newer lights would be more efficient. So I had to reschedule for the next morning and then run to Home Depot to buy new lights. Thinking I got a good set of lights I asked my technician the next morning what he thought and he said I guess they were OK and that I might get a year out of them. Not very encouraging. He installed two joist mounted outlets ( a much easier job because of my light selection) but not a 100% of what I described . He seemed anxious to leave but I asked if he could fix a light switch that was rigged kinda funny. That took him about 10 minutes. When he was finished with that he seemed very eager to leave even though he had only been there about 90 minutes by my calculation. In my opinion when I book two hours worth of work that's what I expect. I would have liked for the technician to have asked if there was anything else that needed looking at. But I did not get that, just a hurry up job to write me up the work order to sign and then he was out. But everything is still working well, and the Electrician I worked with was nice enough. I personally just felt rushed and not entirely heard or that my business was appreciated.

He explained everything and the price as he proceeded. He was very professional and seemed to have a good knowledge of his work.

The process went fine once the technician arrived. Although we gave him specific information about the bulb type he did not use the information (it turned out okay in the end). The end result is great!

Final job was satisfactory, electrician explained the issues well, and work site was left clean.

Mr. Sparky's job was perfect. I couldn't be happier. The gentleman explained every cost BEFORE the work was done. He was on time, worked quickly, was clean and extremely professional. I would not hesitate to use them again. Highly recommended.

In the end the quality of the workmanship is an 'A', but it did lead to some other headaches for me. We are still dealing with an insurance problem because he damaged our kitchen square laminate floor. He dropped a huge drill on it causing $1,800 in damages. ?We haven?t come to an agreement yes. It hasn?t been the best experience because he has also been difficult to reach from the beginning. He was a very nice man, but I don?t know if I?d hire him again.

He is a really good electrician once you get him here! He was very busy. It took about 3 to 4 times to complete the work.

The service was satisfactory so it was okay. When I went after the work was done to plug something, there was a screw that has not been installed so it was loose, so I thought that his work was a bit on the sloppy side. There was also a small additional charge on top of the big deal for the parts used.

I did not spend more than the big deal price. The guy who came out was prompt and courteous. He had ideas and he was great. He was also responsive to my needs. It was a great experience.

Eric came out specifically to fix an on off switch and install a new ceiling feature that we purchased. He did the work very quickly and efficiently, in about 15 minutes. Then, he answered all the questions we had about other lighting in our home. He gave us recommendations on how to get the best lighting in each room and other questions. I appreciated that he stayed and answered our questions. He was very careful around our home. He cleaned up after himself and wore booties. He was very prepared to do whatever we needed him to do. Eric was very personable. We were very, very pleased. All in all, it was a very enjoyable experience.

I thought it was bargain. The service was good and he was on time for the appointment. He did what I wanted in a good amount of time and took my preferences into consideration.

Took a long time for them to schedule an appointment after the "Deal" was purchased, but when it was finally set, things went generally smoothly.

I puchased the deal back in January, but haven't heard anything from them.

It took awhile with several attempts to get the work scheduled. Once scheduled the work was done promptly and neatly. Electrician even helped to locate correct size light bulbs. Unfortunately I asked for a quote on some additional work and never heard back on extra work.

These guys responded quickly and came out to give me a quote. They were professional on the front end and showed up when they said they would. However, when it came time to pay the bill we were ready to subtract our Angies List deal dollars and the electrician argued with us that the visit to provide a quote counted as a service call. He refused to give us the full credit. I later called and asked if they gave free quotes and was told yes. This is a really sad nickle and dime case. Any future business is now gone including people we would recommend to them. All for the sake of a few dollars. I read all of the fine print and there was no mention of charging for the quote. So my grade is a C because you should never feel ripped off when buying an Angies List deal of the day.

It was excellent. Eric not only did the work in a timely and professional manner, he explained a number of things to me. Things like what type of ballast the kitchen fixture used but that there is a change in the type of fluorescent tubes coming. I will definitely be using Eric and Mr. Sparky again.

It listed they serviced the area I needed, and I called to set an appointment and confirm. But then they called me a few hours before coming out, stating that it was farther away then they had thought. I was fine with this. It happens and was not much of an inconvenience.

When a vendor gives set pricing on a job they have viewed, it's based on the MOST amount of hours they might take in doing the job. One site for the exact same job might take 4 hours. Another site might take 2 hours. Pricing based on the WORST case scenario is not win/win business. Which site do you think they based the pricing on? Several factors go into different sites, such as access, materials, etc.... I don't want to pay for 4 hours if my site can be done in 2 hours. Several Plumbing and Electrical companies are using this practice and I don't like it. They always win and the consumer pays the price for it! These companies argue that the pricing is good because the customer doesn't have any surprises. However, there wont be any surprises if they just told us the hourly rate and here is the range of time the job would take. Just my opinion. So, I will keep looking for a competent and fair plumbing (and electrical) provider! p.s.- The company and the plumber were on time, pleasant, and very informative.
