Back when things were built, they were built right. Craftsmanship mattered. Pride mattered. Work was done to last a lifetime not just until the warranty expired.\nToday, too many companies focus on how many jobs they can rush through, not the quality of the work they leave behind. Since the early 2000s, lifetime warranties have quietly disappeared, replaced by materials and workmanship designed to fail just outside a short warranty window.\nWe believe in preserving what you’ve already built and doing the job the right way—the old way. With Oklahoma’s unpredictable weather, we offer 1–2 free gutter inspections per year to catch problems early. We will:\n• Seal leaks\n• Correct and reinforce corners\n• Repair sagging or damaged sections\n• Ensure proper drainage and long-term performance\nNo shortcuts. No rushed jobs. Just solid work you can trust—done with pride, precision, and accountability.\nBecause some things should still be built to last. Built the Old Way. Done the Right Way.\n

"I could not be happier with Rodney Dyson, the quality of his work, and his professionalism. When my mom needed to sell her home, and because I live out of state, I decided to join Angie's List. I searched the lists for the kind of work I needed completed and came away with three or four candidates. My interviews were conducted over the telephone. Able Seamless Guttering was the least expensive quote I received. I tend never to hire the least expensive, but I was impressed with Rodney Dyson's matter-of-fact honesty. I did fly out to my mother's house in Moore and met Rodney and his crew. They arrived very early in the morning on a very hot July summer day! Whereas I had expected to have to replace all of my mom's guttering (on a 2200-sq ft home with full wrap guttering on all sides of the house), Rodney told me the gutters were in good condition. He would remove them, make repairs, and re-install them. The cost? $400! I was completely blown away. They came and removed the gutters, and six weeks later (after the exterior had been painted) they returned and re-installed the gutters with the appropriate repairs. These guys did an excellent job. I would definitely hire them again--without so much as a second thought."

Gutter Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Underground downspouts refer to the sections of downspout extensions that lead away from your home and gutter system. While they cost more than traditional extensions, they can provide several benefits, such as less frequent damage and no need to move them for lawn care tasks. Whether they're worth it or not depends on your budget at installation time and how much convenience they'll add to your situation.

Gutters should be cleaned at least twice a year, in the spring and in the fall, to remove the debris from trees that can clog the eavestroughs and downspouts. Debris like leaves, twigs, and seed pods can build up and cause your gutters to overflow, potentially causing damage to your roof and foundation. Water backing up under the shingles can rot the edge of your roofline. Overflow water falling next to your foundation can end up leaking into your basement or crawl space.

Regular cleaning, applying rust-resistant coatings, and checking for leaks help extend their lifespan.

Frequently, when water flows over gutters, it indicates a potential clog, necessitating cleaning. For instance, if a twig becomes lodged in the downspout, it can lead to a traffic jam, causing more leaves and sticks to accumulate. Another potential issue is an incorrect pitch, as gutters should channel water toward the downspout. If you observe water overflowing the end cap or leaking through it, it suggests that your gutters are improperly tilted.

The kind of gutter guards you have will affect how often you need to clean them. The more basic type of gutter screen requires cleaning once or twice a year. With a micromesh screen, you may be able to extend the time between cleanings to every two years or so.

However, if you have trees near your roof, you’ll need to clean your gutters more frequently, especially if you have chicken-wire or colander-type gutter guards. If you have pine trees near your roof, you may even need to clean your gutters quarterly, as tiny pine needles can get through any type of gutter guard.
