Customers say: Quick response

"We had a inground pool installed this past year by Chad Zaber construction The planning, the workmanship and finished product were nothing short of outstanding. All deadlines were met or exceeded, which is a very rare thing to happen in todayâ  s world with a shortage of labor. Chad laid out a plan, communicated the plan and delivered. I would highly recommend Zaber construction for any inground pool or any other construction projects that he does. Chad is a rarity in todayâ  s unstable contractor world. Also the follow up throughout the summer and through the closing on the pool was outstanding. Chad had great follow up and answers any questions that we needed throughout the season. "Jason came out to repair my soffit that some racoons had damaged. He did an excellent job. Jason is an outstanding professional. Works closely with the customer and is very personable. He also removed a couple of old satellite dishes that I've been wanting to have taken down for years. I highly recommend Jason Lance LLC and I'm looking forward to hiring him again for a future project."

"I hired MDG Maintenance the same day as I called. They helped me out in a time of need. Had a very tall 10' Christmas tree to have prepped and place in the stand. Impressed by their professional manner and quick response in coming the same day on a Friday! Would definitely recommend them for any handyman services!"

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

Most of the time, though there may be some code variations on the local level, a water source like a pool requires a GFCI breaker. These breakers detect electrical leaks of 5 mA or more and trip the breaker. However, the size of the pool and motor type determine the exact GFCI needs. A GFCI outlet with a reset button may be enough for an aboveground pool with a small motor or pump. Consult a pool electrician to determine the appropriate installation and protection measures needed for your pool.

The regulations for pool fence heights vary by state, so be sure to research what the legal, minimum height is in your area before purchasing or installing a fence. Though every region is different, generally a pool fence must be at least 4 and ½ feet high. If you’re unsure whether you need a fence around your pool, and how high that fence should be, contact a local pool enclosure expert to help you successfully, and safely, move forward.

Shipping container pools last up to 25 years. On average, they’re more durable than the standard aboveground pool, which only lasts 10 to 20 years. Their durability is similar to fiberglass in-ground pools. Concrete pools, on the other hand, outlive almost any other type of pool. They can last indefinitely as long as you resurface them as needed.

The lifespan of a semi-aboveground pool depends on the lining, but they last between seven and 15 years on average. This is right in line with what you can expect from a standard aboveground pool. In comparison, an in-ground pool can last up to 75 years with a well-maintained concrete liner.

Coping is the material that lines the perimeter of a pool and seals the transition between the top of the pool wall and the water. Decking surrounds the poolscape and extends far beyond the water's edge to provide a safe walking and lounging area. In short, coping is the border between the decking and the pool itself.
